Description
The flat is located on the edge of the beautiful Fröbel town of Oberweißbach in the Thuringian Forest
The flat has a separate entrance, which is not used by the landlord. The landlord of the flat is in the house (has his own entrance) and can be informed immediately in case of problems
The flat has a kitchenette with cooker, microwave, refrigerator, coffee maker, toaster, catering must be provided by yourself
One room has a double bed (waterbed) and a seating area (table with 4 chairs). The other room has 3 single beds. Both rooms are equipped with TVs.
The bathroom has 1 shower, 1 double washbasin and 1 WC (no bathtub).
Furthermore, the flat has a terrace, which is located in front of the entrance to the flat, and a parking space for cars. The terrace (with table and 4 chairs) is covered and can therefore be used even when it rains.
The landlord himself owns a restaurant in the village, which is open from Monday to Friday from 8 am to 10 pm.

Location and surroundings of object
The accommodation is located in a quiet area on the outskirts of the town, not far from the forest. The noise level is therefore very low and you have plenty of peace and quiet to relax. The Fröbelstadt Oberweißbach, a charming, state-recognised resort in the Thuringian Forest, nestles in a varied low mountain landscape with wide open spaces and easy-to-climb ridges. The village stretches 2 km along the Weißbach valley (570 - 700 m above sea level). The small town of about 1800 inhabitants was first mentioned in a document in 1370 and received its town charter in 1932.
In the past, the town gained economic importance as a centre for the trade in olives (oleum = Latin for oil). Wild herbs, medicinal plants, berries, roots, tree bark and cones (fir and spruce cones) were abundant and formed the raw material for the production of balsams, oils, distilled waters, pills, tinctures and extracts. These healing remedies were distributed throughout Central Europe by carriers with a reef or satchel on their backs. The centuries-old tradition of making olives in family businesses and the distribution of these remedies by hunchback pharmacists or "Raanzer" is typical for the area around Oberweißbach and unique in all of Germany.

Short vacation around the Schwarzatal
An environment that lets the soul breathe again.
Our short vacation in the beautiful Schwarzatal fully met our expectations for peace. The holiday home of the Wolf family is in a quiet location and is absolutely recommended. We will definitely come back.

Silence, silence, silence
We can only support the other positive reviews. We were warmly welcomed and everything was explained to us wonderfully. The location is simply great; within 10 minutes you are on the hiking trails. Even on New Year's Eve, you didn't hear much of the fireworks. We are completely satisfied and can say that we returned home rested, rejuvenated, and above all, happy. It was our relaxing vacation. Thanks to the lovely Wulff family.

Cozy, very friendly hosts
Quiet location just a few steps to the Fröbelturm. The mountain railway and shopping facilities are also within walking distance. The kitchen has the essentials available to cook for yourself. We had a lovely time with very friendly hosts, who even provided everything needed for grilling without being asked. The stairs to the first floor are very steep. Manageable for our three-year-old, but caution may be advisable for younger children. Otherwise, an absolute recommendation.

Ruhig und gemütlich
We had a super nice stay. Beautifully quiet at the end of a street.
We really enjoyed it. The landlady is friendly and always ready to help.
In the village itself, you can find everything you need, hiking from the house is also easily possible, mountain railway nearby. The children and the two dogs also enjoyed themselves very much.
All in all, highly recommended with a clear conscience ?
Maybe we'll see each other again if we happen to be in the area again.
