Our cosy, modernly equipped 3-star holiday home "Alt Bahnhaus" is quietly located in the small village of Ruschberg near Baumholder. It was built in 1912 and served as accommodation for railway employees at that time. We have owned it since August 2012 and have renovated it from top to bottom with a lot of sweat and heart.

The 120 m² semi-detached house "Alt Bahnhaus" has its own entrance with a cosy terrace incl. garden furniture. Here you can relax undisturbed.
A small table barbecue is available for a cosy barbecue evening.

The fitted kitchen has a cooker, oven, microwave, refrigerator, dishwasher, kettle and coffee maker. There is also a washing machine and dryer, as well as an ironing board/iron.

The bathroom has a bathtub, WC and hairdryer.

TV and radio/CD are available in the living room.
Of course, WLAN is also available free of charge.

On the open upper floor there is a large bedroom with a double bed and a separate room with two single beds. A small reading corner with a selection of books is also available here.

Of course, we have enough space for 1 - 2 cars.

Location and surroundings of object

The small village of Ruschberg near Baumholder is an ideal starting point for numerous activities and undertakings. Whether young or old: there is something for everyone. From cycling, hiking and swimming to climbing, canoeing, gemstone cutting and winter sports in the Erbeskopf recreation area, there are no limits here. Numerous excursion destinations, sights and hiking and cycling trails are waiting to be discovered by you. The best thing to do is to see for yourself the diversity that our region has to offer. The small village of Ruschberg near Baumholder is centrally located between the cities of Trier (approx. 70 km) and Kaiserslautern (approx. 60 km).

Arrival by car:
Motorway A62 to exit Freisen - then in the direction of Baumholder.
Stay on the L 348 for approx. 10 km and you will automatically come to the turn-off for Ruschberg.

Arrival by train:
DB station Neubrücke (Nahe) or DB station Hoppstädten (Nahe) on the Saarbrücken-Mainz/Frankfurt am Main railway line.

additional information about rental price:

The price is valid for an occupancy of 2 persons. For the 3rd and 4th person we charge 15,00 € per night.
Bookings are possible from 4 nights. Shorter stays only on request.

The prices are valid all year round and include all energy and . The rental price also includes bed linen, towels and tea towels.

Cancellation terms:

You will be refunded half of the booking amount minus the cancellation fee, if you cancel the booking at least 7 days before the planned check-in until 12 o’clock midday CET (Central European time). For cancellations which are made less than 7 days before check-in there will be no refund.
