Description
5 km away (bakery and EDEKA each in Rieseby and Fleckeby), an organic store 2.5 km away by bicycle.
Treat yourself to a relaxing vacation! A good sound system lets your own CDs or the radio program play. If you wish, you can also watch TV. A flat-screen TV is available, and you can activate the Wi-Fi access yourself if desired.
As your host, I am on site and happy to give you tips for excursions in the area.

Location and surroundings of object
The holiday apartment is located on the outskirts of Kosel on a side street, Alte Landstraße, approx. 300 meters from the town center or the "Koseler Hof".
Next to it is our own house in a large natural garden with perennial beds, fruit trees, and a self-sufficient vegetable garden.
"Pearl on the Schlei" is how the municipality of Kosel describes itself. Embedded in the landscape of Schwansen, on the southern shore of the Schlei, in the triangle Eckernförde-Schleswig-Kappeln, the municipality with the villages of Weseby, Missunde, and Bohnert has a total of 20 kilometers of Schlei shoreline as well as many hiking and cycling paths. The Schlei Nature Park offers you a varied landscape, the Bültsee is within walking distance and has a natural bathing beach at an Ice Age freshwater biotope. Just seven kilometers away, you can enjoy the atmosphere of the Baltic Sea port city of Eckernförde and the long sandy beach, which invites you to swim and take a walk along the shoreline or the promenade.
Those interested in culture will find sophisticated exhibitions at the Viking Museum in Haithabu and, for example, the State Museum at Gottorf Castle in Schleswig (about 20 km away). Kosel itself offers a charming gem with its St. Laurentius Church. The organic farm Schoolbek supplies a full range of organic products. Further shopping options and many restaurants can be found in the surrounding towns, and of course in Eckernförde.

| Visitor's tax does not apply in Kosel In the high season (May to mid-September) the minimum rental period is one week, in the rest of the time 4 days. Different rental prices apply for a long weekend: Low season Fri, Sat, Sun 75 Euro/night Rentals of less than three nights are not possible. All additional costs are included in the rental price. Bed linen, bath and kitchen towels are provided. Dishwashing detergent/GS tabs are provided, also some kitchen spices. In addition, a refundable deposit of 100 euros is payable on takeover. Optional: additional towel change 10,00 Euro/person Long-term tenants are welcome. Special conditions apply for rentals of at least one month. |

Free cancellation possible up to 50 days before the arrival date.
If the tenant cancels (terminates) the contract, compensation for the saved expenses must be paid as follows, assuming re-renting is not possible: up to 49 days before the rental start date, 10% of the rental price; up to 35 days before, 30% of the rental price; up to 21 days before, 50% of the rental price; up to 14 days before, 80% of the rental price; and if cancellation is more short-notice, 100% of the rental price.

We do our best to make you feel at home. But your holiday will continue to be different from what you are used to. Both sides, landlord and tenant, must abide by rules that are prescribed by law.
Please understand that we do not disinfect our holiday flat if possible , because this neither corresponds to the current recommendations of the RKI nor to our understanding of hygiene. We protect nature and the environment by using products with effective microorganisms that do not contain substances that are harmful to humans or the environment. The requirements of the Schleswig-Holstein state government are thus met.
Should the state government prescribe a hygiene concept with surface disinfection for private landlords like us in the future, we will of course comply with it and use these agents (on door and window handles, light switches, remote controls, etc.)
Our guests are used to a well-equipped kitchen. For infection control reasons, until further notice, and as long as special hygiene requirements are placed on us, we will not stock kitchen ingredients such as dry spices, a supply of sugar, salt and flour, vinegar and oil. Upon departure, all food supplies are to be taken back with you.
Disinfectant is available in the entrance area and liquid soap for hand hygiene in the bathroom.
Rent and deposit should be paid in advance by bank transfer. The keys will be handed over contactless. We will inform you in good time before your arrival how you will receive the key. Other information is available for you in the flat.
The rental includes bed linen and towels. If desired for your own safety, you can also bring your own linen by arrangement.
Please inform yourself before arrival about registration and/or testing obligations, restrictions for those who have not been fully vaccinated during a tourist stay in Schleswig-Holstein.
Should our guests be tested positive for Corona during their stay in the holiday flat, they must return home within 24 hours. Any additional costs incurred for the disinfection of the holiday flat incl. inventory are to be borne by the guests.
During the booked stay, other persons (third parties) are not allowed to enter the flat
As there shall be no travel restrictions, no prohibition of tourist travel in the future, no special cancellation conditions shall apply.
If you decide to stay in our holiday flat, you accept these additions or restrictions as well as the hygiene regulations generally applicable in Schleswig-Holstein (minimum distance, nose and mouth protection, etc.). Further information can also be found at the Schleswig-Holstein Tourism Association under the current information for guests.

Beautiful break in Kosel
Very nice and clean holiday apartment with a friendly landlord in a quiet area, we felt very comfortable here. After our extensive day trips, we could relax well in the evenings. The area offers many interesting activities. We can recommend the apartment.

Very nice!
We were allowed to spend two wonderful weeks in the vacation apartment Seemann's Dream. The apartment is very lovingly and tastefully furnished. We lacked nothing there and felt at home. The owner is also very nice and likable. We would spend our vacation in Seemann's Dream again at any time.

The sailor's dream is a dream. The holiday apartment is very comfortably furnished, you feel comfortable right away. The holiday apartment is very quietly located, no street noise, so very good for relaxing and recovering. The landlady is very friendly and warm, without being intrusive. We had a wonderful holiday.

Pure nature
A holiday apartment perfectly equipped down to the smallest detail, we had never experienced anything like it before! The icing on the cake were the helpful tips for the Schlei region, all great recommendations from our lovely host. Kosel was a perfect starting point for us cyclists between the charming cities of Schleswig and Eckernförde. There was so much to discover, simply a wonderful gem in the middle of nature.
Also highly recommended is the canoe trip on the Füsinger Au. Here you can relax and recharge your batteries!
