Location and surroundings of object

The city center of Denia is aprox. 1,5 km away. The nearest beach is aprox. 1,2 km away. The nearest shopping facilities are about 1km away, a LIDL and a big CONSUM supermarket. The nearest bar is 150m away from the house. They the also serve breakfast and in the summertime you can buy in the morning fresh bread and pastry and have a drink and some tapas on the terrace till late at night. 300m away from the house you find a nice restaurant with sun terrace. A 3 course meal with beverage they serve for € 9,50. In Denia you have a modern hospital and English speaking doctors. Denia is located on the northern Costa Blanca exactly in the middle of the Spanish cultural cities of Alicante and Valencia and is known for its beautiful, over 20 km long and wide sandy beaches that invite visitors with more than 300 sunny days a year, not only for bathing. Denia is a picturesque seaside town on the Mediterranean with Mediterranean charm, nestled in a beautiful landscape and has - thanks to the special situation - the recognized best climate in Europe. Delicious gastronomy, a good infrastructure, various sports and shopping facilities and a very interesting area with many excursions possibilities.

Fully equipped holiday home with great service.

We booked Villa Santa Maria for the first time. The pleasant contact with Mrs. Pieroth-Pickel, providing us with information before our trip, convinced us from the beginning and set the mood perfectly. We felt very comfortable in Villa Santa Maria. I think we have never had such a fully equipped vacation home before. The cherry on top was the beautiful weather in Denia, which spoiled us greatly. House,
holiday resort, and the services of "Pickel und Partner" are absolutely recommendable, and we will definitely be repeat customers.

It was clear to us very quickly that we absolutely wanted to come back to Villa Santa Maria and to you?

Yesterday we said goodbye to my sister and her husband, they are staying in paradise (Dénia) until the end of the year and as we 2 can't wait either, we will come to visit them for a few days at the beginning of November ????

Simply wonderful.

House with all comforts and a feel-good atmosphere

We stayed at the wonderful Villa Santa Maria for New Year's Eve 2019/2020. I have been to many vacation homes or apartments, but I have never experienced such comfort. There was truly nothing missing! We all felt very, very comfortable, but unfortunately, a week passes by very quickly. From booking to departure, we were in very good hands with you! From the bottom of our hearts, we would like to thank you for all your tips, effort, and help! You are simply great and excellent hosts. Keep it up and take care of yourselves. Great holiday home with sea view.

We stayed in this holiday villa for three weeks with two large dogs, and we didn't miss anything. The house is very spacious and modern, and everything was spotlessly clean. The garden is completely fenced, allowing us to leave our two dogs outside alone without them escaping. The owners are very nice and helpful, providing valuable advice. The entire booking process was also very good, with plenty of information provided. Dear Pickel family, thank you very much for the wonderful time at Villa Santa Maria. A villa that keeps its promises.

Hello Pickel family,
we, the married couple Heike and Udo Adämmer, spent our 2-week summer vacation together with two befriended couples in July 2017 at Villa Santa Maria. The lasting impression for us is that the pictures and descriptions of the villa on the internet were in no way exaggerated or embellished.
The furnishings of all rooms, especially the kitchen, the condition of the house and the grounds, and the on-site support were truly fantastic. We particularly liked the pool, which also inspired us - 6 adults - to engage in some sports activities and tempted us for a refreshing swim even after returning from the old town late at night. The large garden with its sun loungers and the various terraces offered each of us the opportunity to completely unwind, read a book, or take a nap. The villa truly has everything to make your summer vacation an unforgettable experience. But the city of Denia itself, especially the old town, offers visitors many alternatives to spend beautiful evenings. The restaurants we visited were all really good, and the value for money was right. We all agree that Denia was and is worth another trip. Where we will then try to get a villa is clear, right? Very correct and friendly landlords.
The villa Santa Maria is well taken care of with a beautiful garden and a swimming pool that was well maintained several times.
The only downside is the beautiful typical Spanish terrace with its rounded arches enclosed with glass. It may be okay for winter, but the glass is not necessary. If it's cold or too windy, a blanket can help or one can go inside the cozy living room. Top- WLAN and TV channels
Best location with a good typical Spanish restaurant within a short walking distance down the road on the left, and a small cozy Spanish bar with a smaller menu up the road on the right.
You feel at home and completely comfortable.
You can tell that these top landlords know how to take care of their tenants well.

Recommendation

Hello dear holiday home seekers with or without a dog. We were guests in the Villas Santa Maria and Pastor of the host family Pickel in Denia in winter 2016/17. There is nothing missing in the villas, everything is up to date, well-maintained, and working: from heating/air conditioning units to the numerous kitchen utensils. The idyllic outdoor areas, fruit trees, palm trees, and the romantic Hollywood pool of Villa Santa Maria are also very well maintained. After three weeks, we moved to Villa Pastor because Santa Maria was already booked. Pastor is smaller and less green than Santa Maria, but it has a great view of the bay of Denia. It has a cozy terrace, many lounge areas, and a stylish pool. Tip: We were also allowed to view the other properties of the Pickel family - (which were already occupied): the Villas Vistamar and Marquesa. They are also spectacularly beautiful and safe for dogs! Villa Marquesa is the brand new property in the quartet and has become a masterpiece. Best regards from the Zapla family.

Top Mietobjekt

Thank you very much for the wonderful holiday in Denia, but unfortunately, as usual, it was far too short. We have been vacationing on the Costa Blanca in October for many years and have rented many properties. But Villa Santa Maria, what can we say, simply great.

We arrived with 6 people, a dog, and 2 cars, and the cars could be easily parked on the enclosed property (with a bit of juggling). The equipment of the villa is top-notch, everything you need is available, plenty of space, and very well maintained. But what was fantastic was also the garden with the cool pool and the covered pool seating area. We will definitely recommend you and will certainly come back.

Tolle Ferienvilla mit top Ausstattung

We spent a very nice (but unfortunately way too short) holiday at the amazing Villa Santa Maria. We arrived with 2 dogs, and the property was ideal as it is completely fenced and our furry friends could romp around. The equipment is top-notch, well-maintained, and everything is available. The Pickel family provided us with great information about Denia and are also very accommodating and helpful in general. We are looking forward to our next vacation in one of the houses (as we had the opportunity to see and admire all three great houses).

Here, everything has been considered

Everything went perfectly with Mrs. H during the handover. The house was in great condition. Especially: beds, shower, air conditioning, kitchen appliances, enough refrigerators, etc. It couldn't have been set up better, everything was really well thought out.

The fact that the entire house is air-conditioned is not evident in the description. (Could be added)

A beautiful vacation with a high feel-good factor all around. The facilities and cleanliness at Villa Santa Maria are great, with only half a point deducted for the path to the beach, though we hardly spent time there, mainly enjoying the beautiful garden with the pool.

Sehr schönes Ferienhaus

The house and its facilities left nothing to be desired, the view over Denia and the Montgo mountain were impressive, from here you could plan many trips, the information folder in the house was very helpful, the fenced property was pleasant - suitable for children or dogs, shopping facilities and restaurants nearby, the landlords are very friendly and helpful, the paella dinner in your garden was unique!

Beautiful and high-quality villa that leaves nothing to be desired.

We can definitely recommend Villa Santa Maria. A very beautiful and well-maintained property that leaves nothing to be desired. We spent the whole February there and since we also had to work from there, a stable WLAN connection was very important to us. Everything worked perfectly. The landlords are also very friendly and were always happy to help us with any questions. We had a great time.

very beautiful

The villa is equipped with a lot of love. And the landlords are super nice and very eager to fulfill any wishes. We rented the villa, among other reasons, because it is equipped with heating. It would have been nice if new windows had also been installed during the renovation of the villa. However, this is only important in winter. So, if you are not as sensitive as we are, you may not even notice this.
