Beautiful bright and friendly semi-detached house in a quiet side street on the edge of the forest in Bad Grund
The house has 82 m² living space with 5 sleeping places.
On the ground floor of the house there is a living room, kitchen and bathroom.
The living room is equipped with a tiled stove, TV and internet access. In the bathroom there is a modern shower.
The kitchen is fully equipped, from here there is direct access to the garden.
In the garden there is a nice shelter with garden furniture and barbecue.
The 1st floor has two bedrooms with two beds each, another light-flooded room is in the converted attic. There is another bed and a cosy sitting area.
The house has a basement, where you will also find the central heating and the washing machine.

The holiday home is located in a small residential street on the outskirts of the village, approx. 500 m to the village centre. Sündhanglage! In the garden the sun shines until the evening.

The small, pretty spa town of Bad Grund is situated on the southern slope of the Oberharz, spread over several valleys. Everywhere you go you come across traces of mining, both in the town and on walks around the old mining town. At an altitude of between 350 m and 580 m, surrounded by deciduous and coniferous forests, there are numerous leisure opportunities in summer and winter, mini-golf, mountain bike trails of the Volksbankarena Harz, museums and much more.
Something special is a visit to the Iberg cave adventure centre, the traditional mines of Bad Grund, the world forest with its exotic trees, swimming in the Oberharz ponds and much more.
A total of 40 km of well-signposted hiking trails run in the immediate vicinity of Bad Grund.

Beautiful holiday home at the edge of the forest
The small holiday home has everything you need. A new well-equipped kitchen, a nice living room, a modern bathroom, two beautiful bright bedrooms upstairs, and a really cute room in the converted attic. The house is located by the forest. You can start hiking here. The shops in Bad Grund are within walking distance. We will gladly come back.

Easter holidays in Bad Grund
Bad Grund - a dreamy mountain town, perfect for hiking! The communication with the landlord was very nice and always worked well. We could arrive and depart flexibly - thanks for that!!! The vacation house was well-equipped - everything necessary was available in the kitchen (except for a dishwasher). What we didn't like at all was that it wasn't clean - the bathroom, the microwave, the oven were quite dirty... really a shame!

Price-performance is right.
Simply equipped holiday home with the charm of the 70s, unfortunately no guest folder with information available. Upon arrival on December 29th, unfortunately very cold throughout the house, warm bedding only sufficient for two people, otherwise only thin blankets.
Nice shower room. A dishwasher would be useful in the large kitchen for a longer stay with several people. No freezer compartment in the refrigerator, sufficient dishes, cutlery, and pots available.
Very good, the landlady was flexible with the departure time on January 1st, thank you very much for that!
