A special advantage of our region is the extremely mild climate, which is influenced by the warm influx of Mediterranean air from the south.

Berg im Drautal is an ideal starting point for excursions to the Carinthian lakes and sights, or to neighbouring Slovenia and Italy.
In the surrounding area there are hiking trails as well as activities such as paragliding, golf, canyoning and much more.
