Description

Ready for the island? How about the Peloponnese peninsula with more options and at a lower price. Goodbye expensive beach vacation and expensive Germany! In southern Greek Messenia, most tavernas offer typical Greek dishes between 10 and 16 euros. Half a liter of wine is often served for between 4 and 6 euros. Experience the unknown sandy beaches on the crystal-clear Aegean from mid-June to the end of July and for a few more days in August. And one night in Villa Pilias costs between 17 and 22 euros per person at full occupancy. And that in the private, luxurious Villa Pilias on the sandy beaches of the southwestern Peloponnese. The detached villa in bungalow style, completed in 2012, is located in olive groves. With 3 double beds in 3 bedrooms and 2 full bathrooms, there is ample space for 6 people on 95 square meters.
Why only on islands? Another smaller Full HD television is in a bedroom, a Blu-ray player as well as a receiver with docking station for iPad, iPhone etc. or USB stick and a high-quality Bluetooth speaker. A WLAN router with SIM card provides unlimited internet access. Two televisions are connected to the internet with Amazon Prime.

Location and surroundings of object

It is a detached single-family house, about 30 meters away from the neighboring house, where a quiet retired couple from Germany lives permanently.
Via the partially unpaved road, part of which has now been concreted (about 250 meters), and the asphalt road, it is only 2.5 km to the 3 km long dream beach Black-Mountain-Beach (fine and coarse sand) and to the butcher and supermarket. By car, you can drive almost onto the beach, where in the middle section (about 300 meters from the parking lot) nudism is common.

Condor and Eurowings fly from Düsseldorf to Kalamata from spring to autumn, Discover from Frankfurt, and with a rental car it takes about 75 minutes to continue to Finikounda-Kamaria to Villa Pilias, in order to enjoy a summer, autumn, or winter holiday with a view of the beach and sea. Kamaria can also be reached by a flight to Athens and a good 3.5 hours by car or bus to Kalamata. With your own car you drive to Venice or Ancona, take the ferry to Patras and about 250 km along the west coast to Villa Pilias.
The lowest price of 102 euros per night is for up to 6 people in autumn, winter, and spring.
Mandatory: 70 euros for final cleaning and 25 euros for laundry (there are enough hand, bath, and beach towels available) and a deposit of 150 euros, which is to be paid on site. 10 kWh of electricity per day are free, which is more than sufficient.

Pure relaxation!!

Villa Pillias is situated, as described, on a slope near the village of Kamaria. A car is a must here (the roads to the villa are largely unpaved). The equipment of the house and the location correspond 100% to the description! We were able to relax wonderfully during our 14-day holiday there. Apart from the chirping of the crickets, there is nothing to hear. We can only recommend the villa!

Vicinity of the holiday home: In ca. 5 Autominuten ist die Hauptstraße zu erreichen. Zur Auswahl stehen nach links,5 Autominuten, der Ort Finikounda mit Badestrand (Sand/Kies) und einer kl.Ladenstraße mit Geschäften und Restaurants. Unser Lieblingstrand war aber Lambes Beach: auf der Hauptstraße nach rechts, ca.8 Autominuten. Ein ca. 1 Kilometer langer Sandstrand mit flachabfallenden herrlichen Wasser. Die Sonnenliegen und Sonnenschirme sind dort, wie überall in der Region, kostenfrei, man zahlt lediglich für bestellte Getränke. Leckers und günstiges Essen gibt es dort im Restaurant Destina, direkt am Strand. Auch Methoni hat uns gut gefallen: Mit der alten Burganlage im Rücken ist das Schwimmen im Meer nochmals ein besonderes Erlebnis. Einen Ausflug wert ist auf jeden Fall der Ort Pylos!Ca. 15 Autominuten von Kamaria entfernt. Malerische gelegen, mit kl. Geschäften und jede Menge Tavernen direkt am Hafen.

free time activities: Schwimmen, schwimmen und schwimmen. Surfen und schnorcheln gehen natürlich auch.

shopping facilities: Direkt an der Hauptstraße, in der Nähe der Abfahrt Kamaria gibt es einen kl. Supermarkt mit Bäckerei. Einen Minimarket findet man auch in Finikounda. In Kalamta gibt es auch Lidl.
