Fonyód Fonyódliget is a resort right on Lake Balaton, in a convenient location with beautiful view, 40 km southeast of Keszthely, 45 km west of Siofok. All services in place. Fitness center, solarium, massage. More possibilities for shopping and entertainments 15 km. Access: by train Budapest - Siofok - Fonyod. Railway station in Fonyód and Fonyódliget also. Sármellék airport 40 km. Ideal starting point for trips to the spa in Csisztapuszta (8 km), Héviz (35 km) and Badacsony. Twice per week (Wednesday and Saturday) there is a typical Hungarian market. From the port scheduled boats run to the numerous settlements on the northern and southern shores of Balaton. Strand. Sandy beach. Acquapark "Zalaegerszeg" in 45 m. Sailing, surfing. Tennis. Fishing. 15 km bicycle paths, bicycles for hire. Children's playground is available on the nearby beach.
