Description

The holiday home offers everything you need for a relaxing holiday. Here you can relax and have an excellent starting point for your activities. The cosy furnishings and the new, well-equipped kitchen mean that you won't miss the comfort you are used to on holiday.
The 500 m ² large property is completely fenced and the parking space for car or motorbike is on the property. It is in a top location, dogs are welcome!

Our holiday home is located in direct proximity to the forest, on the International Cycle Route R1 in an absolutely quiet location. It therefore offers an ideal starting point for cycling tours, mountain bike tours and of course hikes in the beautiful Harz Mountains.
Popular excursion destinations are the Brocken (also accessible by the Harzquerbahn), the Steinerne Renne, the Mönchsbuche, the Plessenburg forest inn and the Ilse Falls. The hiking trails to Wernigerode and Ilsenburg or to the Brocken are well signposted. Wernigerode, the 'colourful town on the Harz' with its half-timbered old town, neo-Gothic castle and town hall, or Ilsenburg can also be reached by car in just 5 minutes
Other excursion tips include the Hexentanzplatz in Thale with its summer toboggan run, the cathedral treasures in Halberstadt and Quedlinburg, the Western Town in Hasselfelde, the stalactite caves in Rübeland, the Rappbode Dam or the Regenstein castle ruins in Blankenburg.

There are two tennis courts and a forest swimming pool in the immediate vicinity. The 1000-year-old monastery in Drübeck, which lies on the Romanesque Road, is also within easy reach.
There are good shopping facilities and a doctor's surgery in the village.

Location and surroundings of object

Our holiday home is located in the immediate vicinity of the forest, on the International Cycle Route R1 in an absolutely quiet location. It is an ideal starting point for cycling tours, mountain bike tours and, of course, hikes in the beautiful surroundings, where there are two tennis courts and a forest swimming pool. Darlingerode,
a state-recognised health resort, lies at an altitude of 300 m in a very idyllic location on the northern edge of the Harz Mountains, directly at the foot of the Brocken, on the L 85 between Ilsenburg and Wernigerode.
There are good shopping facilities and a doctor's surgery in the village

Dream vacation home

The house is lovingly furnished, the garden is fully fenced and therefore ideal for dog owners. The location on the edge of the forest is quiet and idyllic. Just a great place to spend the vacation :)

Very nice holiday property in the Harz Mountains

We stayed in the Harz for a short break and were very impressed with the accommodation. Lovingly and richly decorated, immediately comfortable, even for our furry friend. Thanks to the fenced plot, our four-legged companion could move around freely and the forest starts right at the doorstep.
Very dear hosts who always had our well-being in mind.
We felt very comfortable and would love to come back to Darlingerode

...for the 2nd time a perfect stay!

We went to the Niehoff family's holiday home for the second time. It hasn't lost any of its charm. The reception was just as perfect and lovingly arranged as last year! Bella was already running around in the garden while we admired the new couch and newly equipped bathroom. We had very relaxed days again and a perfect service with absolutely courteous communication! The fresh chicken eggs in the middle of our stay were the icing on the cake! We will definitely book again! Thank you very much - the Beyer family and dog Bella.

Beautiful stay in a great location

Our 4-day stay was very enjoyable after we moved into this vacation rental. The property has been well thought out to make guests feel comfortable. There were 4 adults and 1 child, and we had plenty of space at all times. Outside, we could sit comfortably under a large umbrella and even play table tennis. The apartment is located directly at the entrance to various hiking trails. Overall, we were all very satisfied and would recommend this property at any time!

...wonderful stay

It was a wonderful stay that we really enjoyed. The area is simply perfect to relax. The house is very lovingly and tastefully decorated. Everything was available. Everything perfect!!! Since the property is fenced, we could also let our dog roam around the property without worry.

Vacation with a dog, always very happy to do so!

Our second vacation in the holiday homes of the Niehoff family was again very pleasant. Just like last year, we were welcomed by a spotlessly clean and tastefully furnished holiday home, where nothing was missing.
It is also nice that new equipment is regularly invested in.
So we can wholeheartedly recommend the holiday homes.
