The house is located 4 kilometers away from the village center on a 350 meter high mountain with direct sea views. The village Traiguera, with 2,000 residents, is just a few km from Vinarós, in the heart of "Baix Maestrat" and at an altitude of 271 m. Surrounded by Mediterranean agriculture with magnificent olive almond and carob trees, it is very beautiful. A quaint village with beautiful buildings, remnants of its medieval city walls are still standing. Wide known Traiguera is for his long-standing and traditional pottery. The "Alfareria" in place there is today and has been family owned for generations. A finca for rest and relaxation

Dear Katja,
we fondly remember the days at your paradise finca – it was a very special time for us.
Wandering through nature with our dog, enjoying the peace, and being in your lovingly designed home really did us good.

Your warm nature, your little gestures, and the relaxed atmosphere made our stay perfect.

A small paradise amidst olive trees – absolute relaxation for humans and animals.

We (two adults, one child, and two dogs) spent two wonderful weeks at this dreamy little finca near Traiguera – a real insider tip for anyone seeking peace, nature, and authenticity.

The finca is nestled among olive groves, secluded from the hustle and bustle and full of Mediterranean flair. The road there is a bit bumpy, but absolutely no problem – and every curve is worth it! Because what awaits you is pure deceleration. The house is designed with incredible attention to detail and offers everything you need for a relaxing vacation. Nothing is missing.

We were particularly impressed by the warmth of the landlady. She was always helpful, friendly, and had an open ear for our questions or concerns. Her three dogs are incredibly sweet and social; our own four-legged friends felt at home right away. A highlight – not just for our child – were the daily visits from donkey Tamtam and pony Rumba, who brought a smile to our faces every day.

You have to drive to the beach, but that didn't bother us at all – because after a trip to the sea, it was always a pleasure to return to the tranquility and beauty of the finca.

Conclusion: Those who seek the authentic, far from mass tourism, and love nature – including animal companionship – are exactly right here. We will definitely come back!

Time-out in the midst of olive groves and a view of the sea.

If you're looking for a relaxed vacation, far removed from everyday life, then Katja's place is a really great option. The views up there are simply beautiful, whether you're looking at the mountains or the sea. The beautiful plants and flowers around the house are eye-catching, as is the attention to detail in the interior and exterior decor.
It's a place to switch off and enjoy peace and quiet.
Our two dogs quickly settled in and felt very comfortable there.
We did everything in the surrounding area that was recommended to us and also discovered beautiful hikes through Komoot.
The vacation was simply too short.
We will definitely see Katja and her 'pack' again!

A beautiful oasis

In the middle of the mountains around Vinaros, Calig, St.Jordi lies this beautiful property with a wonderful view of the nearby Mediterranean Sea. The small finca has been furnished with great attention to detail and a sense of creativity, and the owner has left out no eventuality. The entire property is fenced, so that the four-legged companions can go exploring at any time, there is a small playground for children, a pool for the undoubtedly very warm months in Spain, a donkey and a pony that always come to visit, chickens that give eggs and lots of art that invites you to explore. The finca has four (very comfortable) beds, TV, Wi-Fi, a wonderful terrace, games, an oven for the cold months, cooking utensils, in other words, everything you need to settle in and explore Spain from there. Vinaros is about 20 minutes away by car, Cali and St. Jordi about ten.
The owner is a kind-hearted, very loving person who makes almost every wish possible for her tenants and is always helpful with tips and advice. We have already been there twice and will definitely come back, because the relaxation factor here cannot be topped.

Paradise among olive trees.

As described above in the headline, it is a small paradise for holidaymakers looking for peace and relaxation, the finch is located between olive trees and is an oasis of peace.
Katja is a great host and very friendly, helpful and always has an open ear and gives tips on what to do in the area.
The interior of the finca leaves nothing to be desired and is very well maintained and clean.
We will be back?

Pure relaxation!

We had an indescribable 4 weeks of wonderful holidays in the finca. Far up on the hill, away from the stress of everyday life. We have never seen such a clear starry sky in Germany. Including shooting stars. The children were thrilled with the pony, the donkey and the dogs. Of course, the pool on the huge property was the highlight. The beaches of Benicarlo, Vinaros and Peñíscola can be reached in max 30min. The Aquarama water park was worth a day trip. The nearest small supermarket was 10min away. Bakery, tobacco shop and pharmacy in less than 10min. Katja's olive oil is very tasty. We can highly recommend Katja's property

Great place, lovely people

Beautiful house in a great rural location

The stay with our 2 children was wonderful. Our great stay was rounded off with the obliging and open manner of the hostess.
The house is located about 2 km from the village of Traiguera and about 20km from Vinaroz. The location is rural, i.e. somewhat remote, but all the more peaceful for it. The tame (domestic) animals were a welcome and nice change from the everyday quiet. The pool offered a refreshing play option for the children.
A recommendable holiday home for all those who are looking for relaxation and nature.

A little paradise, again and again!

A family that lives there itself and makes great efforts to ensure that we as guests are well taken care of and that the house maintains its quality.
This time we were there with two seniors and were able to enjoy twelve wonderful days of pure vacation again. Away from crowded resorts and tourist hustle and bustle, but with the possibility to drive by car to the coast with beach and shopping or to the romantic reservoir for swimming in 20 minutes. What I don't understand is the criticism of the approach, we want a house where no tourists buzz around. Honestly, there are much worse roads and you quickly get used to the up and down on the second time, and ninety percent of the route is paved anyway. Of course, one should also be good on foot, after all, it is a finca and not a beach promenade. For this, you will be rewarded with a fantastic view and tranquility. We, for our part, are already looking forward to the next holiday at Casasrojas.

Sehr schade, dass der Service, die Lage und das Preis-/Leistungsverhältnis so bewertet wurden, obwohl bereits am Anreisetag darum gebeten wurde, für das Jahr 2018 ein verbindliches Angebot zu übergeben, welches der Kunde auch sofort dankend annahm. Der Weg ist wie beschrieben ein Sandweg, der zu 90 % bereits betoniert ist und regelmässig von der Gemeinde Traiguera gereinigt wird. Wenn es irgendwelche Wünsche, Verbesserungen oder Probleme gab, verstehe ich nicht, warum diese Dinge nicht während des Urlaubs mit mir besprochen werden. Ich war jeden Tag präsent, es wäre immer nett dieses vor Ort direkt mit mir zu besprechen, anstatt sich jetzt zu beschweren. Sehr schade.

A oasis of tranquility and well-being

We were very lucky to be able to spend 4 weeks of vacation at the finca. The only "negative" thing I can say... unfortunately, the time passed much too quickly, and we would have loved to extend another 2 weeks, we felt so good. Our little daughter was also warmly welcomed and every wish was taken care of. Warmth and service are paramount with Katja and Dirk. Everything is very clean and furnished with attention to detail. And one can only dream of this stunning view in other holiday homes. We will definitely come back. Thank you for a wonderful time.

Wohlfühloase

We were never greeted and taken care of so warmly during a holiday home stay! Nothing was missing. The house is very beautiful and lovingly furnished. The view is AMAZING! Dreamy terrace with a reading and relaxing bed. It was still cool at night and in the evenings during our time (March/April), so we could make a fire in the oven and enjoy the evening and night with the crackling olive wood. We were there with our children (girls 2 and 5 years old). The new swings were tested every day, and the little one even took a nap in the nest swing once. Our youngest daughter's fear of dogs disappeared after just one day. Such lovely, nice, sweet dogs!!! Rumba and Tamtam, of course. Our oldest daughter was rarely seen and found a great new friend in Lilly. The ascent and descent of the mountain became routine after a day and were easily manageable with a VW Bus T4. Katja's paella is also highly recommended!
We had a wonderful vacation!

Winter vacation 2015-2016

Beautiful landscape for short breaks, very nice. The way to the Finca is very arduous. Walking back and forth to the village is only suitable for extreme hikers. Not everything was as described. For 14 days, we had no power from 8 o'clock and were woken up at night by a beeping noise (THE POWER SUPPLY WAS INSUFFICIENT). The toilet lid was only repaired after several requests. If there are problems, one should only contact Mr. Dirk Dudek, who will take care of everything that is not right as soon as possible. Generally, the holiday was very nice but only conditionally suitable for long-term stays.

Dieser Kommentar entspricht nicht der Wahrheit. Der Toilettendeckel wurde am selben Tag gewechselt, der Weg ist wie beschrieben, ca. 4 Km lang, um ins Dorf zu gelangen. Tatsächlich sind diese Gäste immer mit dem Kfz gefahren, gewandert sind sie nie. Hinzu kommt, dass sie mit einem Geländewagen anreisten und keinerlei Probleme mit der Zuwegung bekamen. Die Stromversorgung, die im Reisepreis, wie auch das gesamte verbrauchte Wasser enthalten ist, wird gemäss den AGB gewährleistet durch die Solarenergie. Bei nicht ausreichender Sonneneinstrahlung wurde regelmässig am Abend, ebenfalls ohne Berechnung, der Generator gestartet und das Haus mit ausreichend Strom versorgt. Extrem unfair sind die Bewertungen zur Lage, die traumhaft ist, wie in den anderen Bewertungen auch beschrieben, genau wie Service und Ausstattung. Wir haben immer sofort reagiert, wenn es Fragen gab. Nur wegen privater Differenzen mit dem Vermieter, kann man hier nicht eine derart schlechte und unwahre Bewertung abgeben.

Wonderful vacation *****

We were warmly welcomed and taken care of here! The holiday home is very lovingly and typically Majorcan furnished. Everything is available, even WiFi, and all powered by solar energy! It got a bit chilly at night (November), so we could make a fire in the fireplace and cozy up to the crackling olive wood. We were there with our friends for the olive harvest, a wonderful experience. The animals on the estate also brought us a lot of joy. Driving on the mountain is easily manageable even with a rental car. In return, you are rewarded with a wonderful view. We also enjoyed the absolute tranquility here; it's a place where you can escape the stress of everyday life. As seniors, we felt very comfortable and will gladly return. Keep it up!
