Welcome to the Glockenberg Holiday Park in Altenau in the Harz Mountains

At Ferienpark Glockenber in Altenau you will find a wide range of well-equipped holiday flats at a reasonable price. The flats have a well thought-out layout and offer space for up to 4 people.

All flats have shower/WC, a kitchenette, hallway and balcony

You will find a bakery in the immediate vicinity, as well as the spacious bathing and sauna area 'Heißer Brocken'.
The professional holiday park management always ensures a clean and well-kept appearance of the holiday park: well-kept green areas, clean paths and stairways and a reliable winter service are the standard here.

The Glockenberg holiday park is located above the town centre at approx. 510 m above sea level. Altenau is a charming little town in the Upper Harz that has long focused on tourism. People who enjoy exercise, health, fresh air and activity will find excellent offers here against the backdrop of an enchanting landscape. You will also find numerous shops and restaurants in Altenau.

For hikers, the water hiking trails in the UNESCO World Heritage 'Oberharzer Wasserwirtschaft', the world's largest pre-industrial water management system, are worth mentioning. Here you walk along ponds and ditches and constantly encounter man-made 'artificial structures'. This is fun, thought-provoking and, on top of that, the water trails have little incline and decline and are therefore easy to walk.
The 'National Park Hiking Trails' offer the contrast, no less charming. Here, hikers encounter deliberately untouched nature. The 'Goethe Trail' from Altenau-Torfhaus to the Brocken is probably the best-known National Park hiking trail.

Whether hiking, paddling in the Oker Valley, mountain biking in the Volksbank Arena Harz or swimming in the 'Okerteich', the offer in and around Altenau is extremely varied. The 'Ferienpark Glockenberg' is certainly a good address for your accommodation.

Vicinity of the holiday home: Von Altenau aus ist alles rumherum alles zuerreichen.

shopping facilities: Am Ort ist ein Bäcker und unten ist ein Süpermarkt sowie zwei Schlachter.
