DAS STUDIO UCKERMARK – a former stable that has been converted into a multiple award-winning studio;
A few years ago, we – Jane (stylist) and Karel (photographer) –
found the former three-sided farm Rieckshof in an absolutely dreamlike location.
Founded around 1850, it was named after the first owner.
The farm has a varied history,
among other things, it was the Russian command post after the Second World War.
The farm and the residential house were gradually and carefully renovated.
Since we lived and worked for many years in Paris, Berlin, and New York,
it was only a refuge for holidays or weekends.
During the pandemic, we then decided to make Uckermark our permanent home.
And so the project DAS STUDIO UCKERMARK was launched.
From the former stable, where horses, cows, and pigs once lived,
a studio for rent was to be created for:
Photo and film, workshops, sophisticated retreats, co-working space,
or simply for relaxing!
On the ground floor, a large panoramic window was cut into the outer wall,
through which you can watch nature and the sunset.
Here you will also find the open kitchen, as well as the large communal table
and the two WCs, one of which has a shower.
On rainy or cold days, underfloor heating and a wood-burning stove ensure pleasant hours.
In the attic, up to 6 people can sleep in single or double bed alcoves in a “dormitory.”
We have also set up two workspaces for our guests with a magnificent view over the landscape.
In the garden, from September 2026, there will be an outdoor sauna and shower.

you can work or relax here in complete peace;
A large orchard with old trees invites you to read and dream.
With care, a great team of architect, site manager, and local specialists
has converted the former stable building into a spacious studio.
Countless lakes, beautiful cycling routes, and hiking trails in the immediate and surrounding area
invite you to take a trip in every season.
The nearest town is Templin (8km). There you will find many shopping opportunities and also a thermal bath.
