Location and surroundings of object
The Alentejo is the most sparsely populated region of Portugal, very suitable for long walks, birdwatching, mountain biking etc.
The endless beaches of the Atlantic, without buildings, only on 20 km. More to the south, beautiful rocky areas with small beaches.
Lisbon is only 70 minutes away on a quiet motorway.
The house is situated in the old part of the village, which was inhabited only by shepherds and simple farmers at the beginning of the century. This old village centre has only a few houses, a small church, a school, a "taberna" and a cemetery. The "newer" part of the village is situated along the national road N 120, with two cafés where you can have something to eat.
