Welcome to the Luxury Chalet Mary’s Lake Lodge – an exclusive A-frame house on the idyllic Nageler See, where rustic charm meets modern luxury. With great attention to detail, fine reclaimed wood, and a warm atmosphere, this special chalet invites you to leave everyday life behind and experience unforgettable moments. Upon entering, you are welcomed by a stylishly designed living and dining area with a cozy fireplace and television – the perfect place for long evenings by the crackling fire. The fully equipped kitchen with a high-quality coffee machine leaves nothing to be desired and invites you to enjoy delicious breakfasts or shared cooking evenings. There is also an elegant bathroom on the ground floor.

Upstairs, two lovingly furnished bedrooms await you. The master bedroom features a comfortable double bed, the second bedroom is equipped with two cozy single beds – ideal for families or friends.

Another highlight is located in the basement: a spacious retreat with a double bed, its own living area, television, and a large wellness bathroom with walk-in shower. Perfect for enjoying peace and relaxation. In the outdoor area, a large balcony and a sunny terrace invite you to enjoy nature, start the day with a cup of coffee, or end the evening with a glass of wine. Your parking space is located directly at the house.

Mary – the soul of the Lake Lodge
The heart of our chalet is Mary – the loyal family dog who gave the house its name. Their little paw prints lovingly accompany you throughout the design of the Lake Lodge and make it a truly special place.

Mary loves nothing more than her walks to Lake Nagel. There she romps joyfully along the shore and leaps enthusiastically into the water. This connection to nature reflects the character of our chalet: warm, authentic, and full of zest for life. Perhaps you too will follow their paw prints on a walk around the lake, listen to the chirping of the birds, and discover the special tranquility of this unique place.

Surrounded by dense spruce forests, lush meadows, and the unique landscape of the Fichtelgebirge, the location offers ideal conditions for all who want to escape everyday life and experience nature at its finest. Numerous hiking and cycling trails begin right outside the front door, leading to the most beautiful spots in the region.

The officially recognized resort town of Nagel delights with its natural bathing lake, the fragrance and butterfly garden, as well as a variety of leisure activities. Whether swimming, hiking, mountain biking, or simply enjoying the peace by the water – everyone will find their own favorite spot here.

The region also shows its most beautiful side in winter. Groomed cross-country ski trails, ski areas at the Ochsenkopf, winter hiking trails and toboggan slopes make the Fichtelgebirge a popular destination for winter sports enthusiasts.

Popular excursion destinations such as the Ochsenkopf, the Schneeberg, the Kösseine, the Fichtelsee, the Wildpark Mehlmeisel, the Luisenburg Festival or the Wagner city of Bayreuth can be reached in a short time. An excursion to nearby Czechia is also an option. Despite the quiet location, you can reach shopping facilities, a bakery, pharmacy, doctors, cafés, and restaurants within a few minutes.

A little tip from Mary: The most beautiful walk starts right outside the front door and leads to Lake Nagel in just a few minutes – her absolute favorite spot.

Beautiful chalet in a dream location

We spent a wonderful women's vacation at Mary’s Lake Lodge and felt completely at ease from the very first moment.

The house is simply beautiful and very well equipped. Especially the many real wood elements and the loving details make it incredibly cozy – you can tell that a lot of value has been placed on quality and a special atmosphere. Nothing is really missing.

For relaxation, we made extensive use of the large balcony and the beautiful garden. At the same time, the location is perfect for discovering the Fichtelgebirge. Directly from the house, we hiked to the Prince Rock and further to the High Matze. Another beautiful tour took us from the Karches inn up to the Ochsenkopf.

The idyllic Nagler Lake is practically at the doorstep, and a trip to Fichtel Lake was, of course, a must. After our hike around the lake, we ate on the terrace of the inn with a beautiful view of Fichtel Lake – wonderful! A very special highlight was our visit to an event at Luisenburg. Just this extraordinary rock scenery is absolutely worth seeing and thrilled us.

For us, it was the perfect mix of nature, hiking, shared activities, and relaxation in an exceptionally beautiful house.

We really enjoyed the days at Mary’s Lake Lodge and would love to come back. A clear recommendation! ❤️
