Description

Welcome to the North Sea coast! Our holiday home, newly built in 2014 in Julianadorp aan Zee, is located just 1,500 meters from one of the most beautiful and cleanest beaches in the Netherlands – wide, kilometers long, and framed by picturesque dunes. On foot it is about 15–20 minutes, by bike only a few minutes. On 100 m² of modern living comfort, the house offers space for up to 6 people in three bedrooms: one room with a double bed, one with two single beds (including its own satellite TV), and a children's room with a bunk bed – ideal for families with children. Pleasant warmth every day is provided by underfloor heating with individual room control. The spacious bathroom pampers with double washbasins, bathtub and separate shower; an additional guest WC provides comfort when several people are present at the same time.

The heart of the house is the open, 30 m² living-dining-kitchen area, where you can sit together comfortably after a day at the sea or cycling through the dunes.

A real highlight is the generous plot of approx. 740 m² with around 600 m² of fully fenced garden – children and pets can play here safely and undisturbed. On the 30 m² terrace and in the garden, sun loungers, sun umbrellas, garden table and chairs, as well as a charcoal grill await for cozy barbecue evenings. For beach days, there is even a private beach cart available, and you can park your car conveniently and safely right at your own driveway. The kitchen is fully equipped: gas stove, oven, refrigerator and freezer, dishwasher, coffee machine, kettle, and microwave leave nothing to be desired. In the living room, a satellite TV provides entertainment, and fast Wi-Fi with 250 Mbit keeps everyone connected. Washing machine, dryer, drying rack, as well as ironing board and iron make even a longer stay comfortable. Your pet is very welcome (1 animal allowed). From here, you can discover the entire region: kitesurfing, windsurfing or sailing directly on the beach, mini golf and an adventure playground in the nearby Strandslag holiday park, an excursion to the animal enclosure at Landgoed Hoenderdaell, or day trips to the island of Texel and historic Den Helder. Whether an active water sports holiday, relaxing days in your own garden, or beach outings with the beach cart – this modern holiday home is your perfect starting point.

Location and surroundings of object

The holiday home Gentiaan 23 is located in the popular bungalow park De Zandloper in Julianadorp aan Zee – nestled between flower fields and dunes, only a few hundred meters from the North Sea. The park is spacious and green, and has its own dune crossing to the beach: from there you reach the kilometer-long, fine sandy beach, which stretches both north and south. Right at the dune crossing, a cozy beach café invites you to take a break. It is about 1,500 meters from Gentiaan 23 to the sea – about 15–20 minutes on foot, only a few minutes by bicycle.

Shopping: For your daily needs, you hardly need to leave the park. In the nearby center of Julianadorp, the well-stocked shopping center "De Riepel" awaits you, with an Albert Heijn and a Jumbo supermarket as well as a bakery, butcher, drugstore, and toy store – all under one roof. By bicycle it can be reached in about 10 minutes, or even faster by car.

Food & Drink: Directly at the dune crossing of the park there is a beach café for a quick snack in between. In the center of Julianadorp and along the coast there is also a larger selection of restaurants and beach pavilions – from a relaxed breakfast with a sea view to dinner with fresh fish. Leisure on your doorstep: The Strandslag holiday park with adventure playground, mini golf, animal enclosure, and bowling alley is nearby and is especially worth a visit for families. The beach itself is one of the cleanest in the Netherlands and offers ideal conditions for kitesurfing, windsurfing, and sailing. Numerous cycling and hiking trails lead directly through the adjacent dune and polder landscape around De Zandloper. Excursions in the surrounding area: You can reach the port city of Den Helder by car in around 15–20 minutes or by bus line 30 – from there, the ferry to the island of Texel also departs, ideal for a day trip. Nature lovers enjoy visiting Landgoed Hoenderdaell with its small zoo, and in spring, fields of tulips, daffodils, and hyacinths transform the surroundings into a sea of blossoms.
