Welcome to our lovingly renovated holiday apartment on the North Sea. The “Modern jewel” was expanded and furnished by my mom and me with a lot of passion. The result is a cozy place to unwind, feel good, and arrive. Look forward to modern and stylish furnishings with a cozy living room, smart TV, Wi-Fi, fully equipped kitchen with coffee machine, comfortable bedroom, modern bathroom, as well as a private terrace with garden furniture for relaxing. Free parking is also available.
The apartment is quiet yet central – perfect for trips to Carolinensiel, to the North Sea, or for relaxing walks. Whether a short break or a longer vacation: Here you can leave everyday life behind and feel at home.

Perfect location for your North Sea holiday
The holiday apartment is centrally located in beautiful Carolinensiel – ideal for reaching everything comfortably on foot. The historic museum harbor with its cafés, restaurants, and small shops is only a few minutes’ walk away. Bakeries and shopping facilities are also located directly nearby.
It is about 2 km to the beach in Harlesiel and to the North Sea along the idyllic Harle promenade – perfect for walks or bike tours. Ferries to Wangerooge as well as excursion trips into the Wadden Sea also depart from there.
Popular excursion destinations such as the German Sielhafen Museum, the Cliner Quelle, or the marina can also be reached quickly and easily. Despite the central location, you can enjoy relaxed and peaceful vacation days here.

My mom Manuela and I, Laura, have created a very special place in Wittmund with the “Modern Jewel.” The house bears the name of my dad Uli, who had the dream of building a holiday apartment here. Unfortunately, he passed away suddenly in 2022 before he could complete his project. After much consideration, we decided to carry on his dream. Without any craftsmanship experience, but with a lot of passion, patience, and the help of countless YouTube videos, we renovated and furnished the apartment together. Many weekends full of work and memories later, a place was created that is more than just accommodation for us. The holiday apartment stands for togetherness, family, and new beginnings. We hope that our guests can find peace and feel as comfortable here as we do.
