Welcome to Knus Veluwe! “Knus” means to cuddle in Danish – and that’s exactly the feeling you’ll experience here right away. The cozy and stylish little house, furnished with great attention to design and comfort, is the perfect place to relax together, explore nature, or work in peace during a workcation. We are two sisters from Amsterdam with a shared passion for interiors and warmly welcome you to this wonderful holiday home in the Veluwe. Here, everything we love comes together: creating a place where design and comfort go hand in hand. For us, a vacation is only successful when you feel at home the moment you enter. That’s why we have put together the furnishings with great care, so you only need to enjoy the peace and nature. Our goal is to offer our guests an unforgettable holiday feeling in a cozy environment where every detail is just right. You are warmly welcome!
The accommodation
The little house is modern and warmly furnished, with a subtle sense of design. The graphite-colored kitchen gives the room a luxurious look and is fully equipped with built-in appliances, a Nespresso machine, a milk frother, and a kettle. Of course, the kitchen inventory is complete, including children’s dishes. The living room has a floor with a warm wood look and is furnished with a comfortable sofa, an armchair, a TV, and a cozy dining area. Perfect for long evenings at the table or relaxing after a day in the fresh air. There are two bedrooms, both equipped with comfortable box-spring beds, reading lamps, an open wardrobe, and a mirror – ideal for couples, families, or groups of friends. Outside, you can enjoy the peace on the veranda or the atmospherically lit terrace – a wonderful place to sit together, even on balmy summer evenings.
Comfort & sustainability
The tiny house is sustainably built and with great attention to detail. Thanks to underfloor heating and good insulation, it is cozy and comfortable here all year round – even in winter. The garden was designed by Studio May&June and, with its playful and green appearance, blends beautifully into the natural surroundings.
Guest access
The house, garden, and parking space are entirely at your disposal. Check-in is flexible; if desired, the key will be waiting for you in a key safe. Upon arrival, a welcome package with the most important basics such as coffee, tea, oil, sugar, pepper, salt, and dishwasher tablets awaits you. The beds are already made for you – your vacation can begin immediately.

Knus Veluwe is located in a small holiday park on the Veluwe. The Veluwe is the largest nature area in the Netherlands, where you can wander endlessly through expansive forests, purple heathlands, and sand drifts. It is the perfect place to encounter red deer and wild boar face to face or simply enjoy the serene peace and quiet. The cottage is surrounded by nature. You can walk or cycle directly to beautiful areas such as the Tongeren Estate (Landgoed Tongeren) and the Wisselse Veen. In the park itself, you will find a playground and a cozy woodland house for a snack and a drink. Right next to the entrance there is a pancake restaurant – always a hit with young and old.

I wholeheartedly recommend this little house.
This was a very nice place to completely relax. The cottage is beautifully located in the Veluwe; it is a good base to explore nature but is still situated in a small-scale park. In the morning, you wake up to the sound of chirping birds. The cottage itself was fully equipped, spotlessly clean, and very tastefully decorated. The kitchen had a complete set of utensils, and the beds were very comfortable. Outside, there is a nice terrace where we could sit in the sun to read a book. The contact with the landlord also went smoothly and very hospitably. We will definitely come back here again!
