Beautiful and very quiet location. Ideal to relax in this pure natural environment, the babbling brook, the birdsong and even the cows in the meadow opposite us were saying the first morning cheerful hello. Different types of oil vinegar, sauces in the fridge, coffee, sugar , a small snack ... There was even provided breakfast for the next morning in the form of mini butter biscuits which we had to bake in the oven. There was a chilled bottle of bubbly waiting for us and we got the hostess a bottle of homemade apple juice. Scrumptious! The bedroom / bathroom is also a gem. The jacuzzi and steam shower / tub are simply blessed. There are even equipped with special oils. The lounge / living room are also decorated very nice, but we have almost no use of it made. at every meal we had in the house, we sat on the cozy balcony. La Linotte is pricey. Very pricey. But when you're driving down once and see your own piece Private Ardennes and then the deluxe verandah runs you realize that it is worth every euro. The "molester" of the villa, hot tub and steam shower are very tasty, but really a perk. Lovely cottage in a quiet location and equipped with all luxuries. Beautiful walks from Arville and the surroundings are stunning. It's just a shame that if you book this cottage through Belvilla, you pay almost 400 euros more than on another site. We had a magical weekend! The welcome of the owner was very warm, this little cottage is really isolated in nature and inspires the letting go. We took advantage of the view of the small river opposite, the kitchen fully equipped we left the opportunity to cook delicious small meals, like home. This was our 2nd time in this fantastic chalet! Again we have thoroughly enjoyed La Linotte. The welcome was also warm again -) The cottage was again fully equipped. Of all kinds of sauces and spices in the kitchen, enough towels, even a breakfast for the next morning (mini viennoiserie) and a bottle of bubbles. The description of La Linotte is completely in line with reality. Given the warm temperatures, we still can enjoy the covered terrace. From here we have been able to spot a fox several times in the adjacent meadow. The first morning we even saw an ever-walking! We also got the visit of a raccoon one evening that apparently shows up occasionally. For my husband a fantastic environment to finish his daily walks. A region to really enjoy nature. In the village there is only a bakery, but in St-Hubert you have several shops, Lidl, Aldi and Carrefour. In Libramont at a half hour drive, you also have a Colruyt and Delhaize. Very nice and well kept cottage in a very quiet place. The cottage had a lot of luxury, everything was thought of (herbs in the kitchen, bathing suits, soft bathrobes, a cold wine in the fridge upon arrival, etc.). From the terrace for the house there is a view of a meadow with grassy cows and woodland. We were very tidy and kindly received. Any downside (for some) we can think of is the complete French explanation of everything in and around the house (our French is moderate), but the homeowner is busy learning Dutch (sms contact before arrival could already In Dutch) and instructions on devices are available in Dutch. Nearby are many nice walks. We bought a booklet with hiking trails in the nearest tourist information center (in Saint-Hubert). Shortly this we really recommend.

Idyllically situated in a beautiful hiking area with well-defined short and longer hiking trail (hiking ticket for E 8, - available at VVV in nearby Sint Hubert). The road to the holiday home is somewhat of a style. The spacious balcony terrace overlooks a beautiful valley with all the tranquility grazing a number of cows. The traffic on the road behind the house towards the village of Arville is audible. For the whirlpool and steam sauna (including scents and oils) overlooking the valley, there is a lot of space to make the living room with a modest two-seater sofa a little smaller. The holiday home is decorated with a lot of matching red and heart-shaped accessories that you need to keep in mind and take space on tables and windowsills.

We have our honeymoon last week spent in charlet. What an incredibly beautiful location! Wonderfully quiet. The only thing you could hear were the birds and the stream. On arrival we received from the hostess a bottle of wine and biscuits. Unfortunately we were not so nice weather that week but 13 degrees. So every night we had the wood stove and also has some -) Everything was neatly groomed and present. All kinds of different oils for frying, to delicious scented massage oils. A manual was available explaining how everything works. I just could not find instructions for the steam shower but luckily the wait was pretty easy after the explanation of the hostess. We are for a midweek been to the chalet "la Linotte". Since we have not been on honeymoon that was the ideal way to still get away and still be able to enjoy our white bread weeks. We can be very brief, La Linotte is a fantastic holiday! The house is fully furnished and really everything is there. We have enjoyed the luxury and privacy that the house has to offer. It is pricey but we thought it was worth it, highly recommended!

What a lovely house! Upon arrival a good reception by a friendly "francophone" hostess. The candles, the delicacy in the fridge, soothing music in the background and a spicy "relaxing" smell in the bedroom made the complete arrival. The cottage is an oasis of peace and privacy. The cottage was super well taken care of, the owner received us very kindly. She had taken care of everything to the last detail, everything was already made romantic.
