Location
Poreč is the capital of Croatian tourism by the number of overnight stays. Poreč offers apartments, hotels, campsites and private accommodation. It is located on the west coast of Istria. The exceptional effort invested in the cleanliness and landscaping of the town itself, as well as in the beautiful coves and beaches, in harmony with the stunning nature, pine forests and green maquis, as well as the numerous islets, has brought Poreč numerous awards and recognitions. The town’s long history is evidenced by the streets of the old core from Roman times and numerous cultural monuments, the most important of which is the 5th-century Euphrasian Basilica, protected by UNESCO.
