Welcome to our “Holiday Idyll in Oudesluis”
Your perfect retreat for up to four guests! The spacious holiday home with 90 m² of living space offers everything you need for relaxing days.
The house is equipped, for example, with a wood-burning stove, LCD TV, DVD player, central heating (so it can also be booked outside the summer season), and features a jetty and its own mooring in the small harbor of the park complex. It’s just a few steps away. Boats you bring can be launched there independently (slipway, ramp).
On the terrace you will find wind and weather protection, which truly lives up to its name.
For younger guests, a cot and a Tripp-Trapp high chair are available in the house.
In the bright living area, good furnishings invite you to cozy evenings while you relax on the two sofas, read, watch TV, or use the free fiber-optic Wi-Fi. The large terrace with garden furniture allows for pleasant hours outdoors, surrounded by a well-kept garden with rather lush planting for this area, which also allows for private use.

On the ground floor, our house is tiled, and upstairs it has laminate flooring.
The open kitchen is very well equipped with dishwasher, coffee machine, air fryer, and goes well beyond a “basic setup” – ideal for relaxed cooking and enjoyment. Available ingredients (coffee, tea, spices, oils, salt, sugar, etc.) and small items (filter bags, kitchen and toilet paper, dish soap, etc.) are there for you to use. We only ask that you replenish them before they run out, so that following guests are also provided for at first.
Shopping options in the neighboring towns are very good, and more and more discount stores are open seven days a week.
In the two lovingly furnished bedrooms (1 x on the ground floor, 1 x upstairs) you will find restful sleep, and the bathroom with walk-in shower and hairdryer offers ample space.
Upstairs in the gallery there is a second seating set, a second living area. Up here it’s like a second living room in the house. For example, if someone wants to retreat or interests differ at the moment. And if something needs to be done, if you need to work in the “home office” in between, or perhaps write holiday greetings “by hand,” there is a small writing, painting, and work corner next to the wardrobe.
The house is exclusively for non-smokers and thus offers a pleasant living environment.
For families, there is a playground in the park, and the beautiful sandy beaches of the North Sea are quickly accessible – ideal for trips to the sea.
There is an outdoor pool, which you can use free of charge during the seasonal opening times, as we pay the annual fee for our guests as well, a playground, and in winter, with prolonged frost, a large ice skating rink, skating area.
Fishing is a popular leisure activity, especially in Holland and in the holiday park.
As owners, we pay a fee for each calendar year, which also allows our guests to use certain waters around the park. A German fishing license or angling permit is not required and would not be valid in the Netherlands. However, you do need a VisPas (personal fishing permit), which you can purchase locally at the fishing club HSV DE Poel Fishing Association Oudesluis. The issuing office is in Oudesluis at the company F1 Computers Oudesluis (at the entrance to the village next to the former inn “De Oude Herberg”).
We strongly advise you to do this, as the presence of this permit may be checked.
We ask you, also in your own interest, to observe the fishing regulations, rules, and closed seasons in the Netherlands. Detailed information can also be found online, for example at “Angeln-in-den-Niederlanden.de”
You can park your car conveniently and free of charge directly in the parking spaces in front of the property.
Charging stations for electric cars can be found in large numbers in almost all surrounding towns. For example via: chargefinder.com/de
In the idyllic recreation park 't Zijper Eilant, the houses are all privately owned, so emphasis is placed on the condition and maintenance of the park and compliance with the park rules.
This is taken care of by the manager, who is also available on site if you have any questions.

Location and surroundings of object
A zoo, which one does not necessarily expect to find here far up in the north.
- Schagen (approx. 9 KM away). There is a weekly market there on Thursday mornings, which is nice for strolling around. From the end of June to the beginning of September with West Frisian folklore performances, dance, music, parade, etc.
- Alkmaar, also known as the cheese city. For centuries, there has been the cheese market there, which still takes place today, from April to September every Friday from 10:00 a.m.

Cancellation terms:
Here is the translation to English: Up to two weeks after booking, but for short-term rentals no later than six weeks before the start of the rental period, cancellation is free of charge. An ordinary termination is not possible after this point. In the event of non-use or cancellation of the rental property, 90% of the total rent must be paid. (It is therefore recommended to take out travel cancellation insurance.)

Beautiful, cozy holiday home
Beautifully located, very well-kept, and lovingly furnished holiday home. It is situated in a very quiet area. The house is very well equipped — everything you need is sufficiently available. Great excursion possibilities in the surrounding area. We would rent it again!

Simply a dream
It is by far the most beautiful house in the entire holiday park.
The whole house is super equipped and really very clean.
I come here at least twice a year and it is always wonderful; moreover, you can fish for pike, carp, and more here.
It is always an experience :)
