Our blue stilt house near Kößlarn is nestled in gentle hills and offers peace, views, and a very special atmosphere.

Peace and space, a lovingly designed stilt house on our organic farm, surrounded by fruit trees and nature. A private spot in the greenery, the view over the hills of the Rottal, and many small details that make the stay special.
Together with our Quittenschupfa and the house on wheels, it is part of our lovingly managed organic farm, which we also like to call the "Tuscany of Lower Bavaria" because of the wide views and fruit trees. There are several individually designed accommodations on the property – from the stilt house to the house on wheels to the converted attic – each with its own area and plenty of privacy.
The blue stilt house offers about 25 m² of space for up to four guests – ideal for a getaway for two, with family, or with friends.
Four-legged friends are also very welcome (€7.50 per night) and may accompany you. The little house is deliberately designed to be open – living, sleeping, and cooking areas flow into one another and create a cozy, warm atmosphere. On the ground floor there is a double bed, on the mezzanine a single bed; if needed, an additional mattress can be provided there.
The stilt house was built using natural materials in accordance with building biology principles. The wood comes from our own forest and was – in the traditional way – felled at the appropriate lunar phase. Walls made of clay plaster, selected pieces of furniture, and many loving details give the little house its very own character.
It is heated by a wood stove, which, with its crackling fire, spreads a pleasant warmth, especially on cooler evenings. The necessary firewood is, of course, included in the price. In the bathroom, underfloor heating additionally provides pleasant comfort. The small kitchenette is equipped with everything you need for cooking together – coffee machine, kettle, pans and pots are available. Various spices, salt and pepper mills, as well as selected tea blends are also provided. For coffee lovers, there is freshly ground espresso from the region.
All, of course, in organic quality and included in the overnight price. Upon your arrival, the beds are already freshly made for you, and a sufficient number of towels are provided so that you can feel comfortable right away.
As a welcome, a small greeting from our kitchen awaits you in the cottage.
Our stilt cottages stand for conscious tranquility and slowing down: there is no Wi-Fi and no television. Instead, nature, silence, and many small details invite you to simply switch off and leave everyday life behind. From the terrace of the blue cottage you can enjoy a wide view over the gentle hills of the Rottal. In summer, fresh herbs grow on the cottage’s own terraces, and you are welcome to snack on old varieties of fruit from our garden. The garden offers plenty of space to relax, and the grill invites you to cozy evenings under the open sky.
A private parking space is available for your car, and there is also a wallbox for electric vehicles directly at the house. If you would like to treat yourself in the morning, we are happy to prepare a breakfast basket for you in organic quality, put together seasonally and partly with products from our own production. The price is 23 € per person. For children, we are happy to find a suitable solution by arrangement.
A special experience during your stay is also our moonlight bathing, which you can optionally book on site (29 € per person). On a small bathing terrace nestled in nature above the hills of the Rottal, two freestanding cast-iron bathtubs await. While hot steam rises into the night sky and a fire crackles in the fire bowl, you enjoy a fragrant bath – for example with roses, lavender, hops, or marigold – accompanied by a handmade bath butter and a matching drink. A truly special experience at any time of year.

Our organic farm is located in the midst of nature, on a hill in the Rottal – with only 2 other houses as direct neighbors – offering a wide view over the gentle rolling landscape. On clear days, we enjoy an impressive panorama of the Alps.
Meadows, fields, and small wooded areas surround the farm – a peaceful environment, ideal for walks and for unwinding in nature.
Good shopping options for daily needs can be found about 4 km away. There, in addition to a large supermarket, there is also a particularly well-stocked organic food store.
Since our farm is almost in a secluded location, a car is recommended. By arrangement, pick-up from Simbach/Inn or Passau train station is also possible for a small additional charge.

In addition to the Blue Stilt House, there is another stilt house on our farm, a small house on wheels (a lovingly converted former truck trailer), as well as the converted attic of a barn, our “Quittenschupfa” – each characterized by its own unique character.
