Welcome to Landhaus Szigliget – your perfect holiday home at Lake Balaton! In one of the most beautiful and unspoiled villages on Lake Balaton, it is idyllically situated between Szigliget Castle and the Eszterházy Palace.
This charming house offers 120 m² of space for up to 10 guests and combines traditional charm (200 years old, listed building) with modern comfort (extensively renovated). Three bedrooms, two bathrooms, and a separate toilet provide privacy and convenience, while a fully equipped kitchen with dishwasher, stove, oven, microwave, kettle, coffee machine, plenty of dishes, pots, glasses, and much more makes cooking a pleasure. In the open living area, a fireplace invites you to relaxed evenings, while the air conditioning ensures pleasant temperatures on hot summer days. Enjoy sunny hours on the terrace or in the lovingly landscaped garden, surrounded by blooming roses and well-kept greenery. A BBQ grill by the summer kitchen is ready for sociable barbecue evenings. For families, a baby cot is available, and thanks to the washing machine, iron, and hairdryer, longer stays are uncomplicated. Bed linen, TV, Wi-Fi, and a private parking space complete the offer. The house is exclusively suitable for non-smokers, so you can relax in fresh air. Landhaus Szigliget offers you relaxation in a picturesque setting – ideal for families and friends who want to spend unforgettable days at Lake Balaton.
Additionally, we have our own beautifully situated vineyard with a fantastic view very close by, and therefore also our own wine from historic vines.
The popular Szigliget/Balaton bathing beach is about 2 km from the house. A very diverse range of excursions and experiences in the surrounding area, as well as restaurants for every taste and preference, complete the offer.

In the old idyllic village part of Szigliget, on the slope between the castle and Eszterházy Palace, lies our traditional country house.
The small, very popular place Szigliget on Lake Balaton, with 900 souls and many thatched houses, is nestled in one of the most beautiful natural landscapes of Hungary. The village is crowned by a very well renovated medieval castle ruin, and in the center of the village is the former summer residence of Prince Eszterházy, a large well-kept Balaton outdoor swimming pool, a harbor, and many other leisure activities.
Within walking distance: restaurants, café, ice cream parlor, wine taverns, grocery store, post office, pharmacy, castle with many events such as concerts, castle games, hiking trails, Balaton bike path, our vineyard, and much more.
Quietly located and yet right in the middle of it all.

Vacation in beautiful Szigliget
We have often been guests in the beautiful, listed farmhouse in Szigliget, located at the foot of the castle hill. The castle is worth a visit, especially with children. On the way there, about a 10-minute walk, there is the best ice cream in Szigliget.
This time, we particularly enjoyed the beach bath; our grandchildren were in the water all day or playing in the sand.
The days we spent in the house and garden were also an experience. The wonderful outdoor kitchen invites grilling and cooking, which made the stay special.
The house is very well-maintained; you can simply tell that a lot of love is put into it. The owners are always quickly and easily available for any questions.
We can hardly wait to spend our next vacation there, with the whole family or even alone, to relax while swimming or enjoying beautiful hikes and exploring the area.
