We were now for the first time after the change of ownership in the hotel and were a bit disappointed. Unfortunately, it felt somewhat deserted, there was no inviting atmosphere. The bar was already closed early and there was only tea at the coffee machine in the room. The breakfast was good and having breakfast outside on the terrace was very pleasant. All in all, we probably won't come back.

On the weekend when it was 38 degrees in Bielefeld, the fully air-conditioned building was a rescue and a brilliant surprise, known only from southerners. The hotel was actually in the middle of the city (10 minutes on foot to the old town) but in the park with 200-year-old oaks was quiet and relaxed. Pet-friendly and nice, the Ukrainian receptionist very accommodating, Albanian housekeeping flexible and quiet, Indian night shift helpful, and the international restaurant team very friendly. There is still something to do in the 80-year-old building, and more could be made of the location, but we were very satisfied. Price-wise top, clear recommendation.
