Location and surroundings of object
Our cottage is located behind our apartment complex on a cozy street; at the end of the street there is a small playground. The holiday home has its own private garden, fully fenced, where you can enjoy the sun in a protected area.
Our cottage is very close to the beach, the sea, the village center, and the supermarket. The surroundings are ideal for walking, cycling, and relaxing, with a nature reserve (Zwanenwater) and charming surrounding villages. There are also several good restaurants within a short walking distance of the holiday home.

The Holiday Cottage is located in beautiful Callantsoog, where there is a lot of activity in the summer both on the beach and in the lively village center.
Besides the wonderful beach, we have in Callantsoog the beautiful nature reserve Zwanenwater, where it is lovely to walk at any time of the year. But the charming towns of Schagen and Alkmaar are also close by for a day of shopping. Callantsoog is also the perfect starting point for a day trip to Texel. In the area around our comfortable holiday cottage you can enjoy cycling, for example through the dunes to Den Helder or Camperduin. In short, there is always something fun to do in the area; if you just want peace and quiet, you can stay at home in our holiday cottage to read a book or play a game.

Dear tenant, we are Kees and Esther, we were both born in Callantsoog, just like our three adult sons. I, Esther, was born in the house where we still live, and behind which the holiday home is located. We have been renting out the holiday home ourselves since the year 2000; before that, my parents rented it out.
