We have been popular with guests on another portal for over 7 years, with many returning guests and an average rating of 4.7/5 points! Leisure activities in the area include: cycling, hiking, Nordic walking, horseback riding, jogging, inline skating, swimming, outdoor pool, indoor pool, kitesurfing, surfing, windsurfing, sailing, canoeing, rowing, pedal boating, fishing, golf, mini golf, go-karting, paintball, bowling, fitness, thermal baths, wellness, culture, museums, theater, sights, harbor tours, boat trips, snorkeling, diving, bird watching, and play barns/indoor playgrounds. For history enthusiasts, among other things, the bunkers under the dunes of Wijk aan Zee can be visited by tour in the summer.
The displayed price includes all costs, including linen package (towels, dish towels, bedding, sauna use...), final cleaning €60, deposit €150. German, English, and Dutch are spoken. In the natural garden live a cat, dog, hedgehog, and birds, therefore the house is only partially suitable for allergy sufferers.

Free cancellation possible up to 42 days before the arrival date.
Here is the translation to English: Arrival can often be arranged earlier – please inquire. In the event of a cancellation by you from 41 days before arrival, you will receive your deposit or full payment back minus a €50 administration fee, provided the booked period is re-rented and the new tenants have paid their deposit. You can view all bookings via the listing calendar, and we will proactively contact you in the event of a re-rental. If the period cannot be re-rented at all, we will refund 10% of the pure rental price as well as the full cleaning fee/deposit. If the period is only partially re-rented, we will refund the newly booked days in full and the unbooked days at 10% of the pure rental price. We recommend that you take out travel cancellation insurance. A no-show is considered a cancellation. Non-payment of agreed installments within 3 working days after the due date is considered a cancellation by the customer, and the cancellation fee will apply accordingly. The deposit of €150 and the final cleaning fee of €60 will, of course, always be refunded in the event of a cancellation.

Outstanding
The apartment is perfectly equipped. The kitchen is fully equipped with a dishwasher, oven, microwave, and all utensils. The bathroom has a sauna and a very large shower. The whole house has underfloor heating, and the bed and sofa are very cozy. In Heemskerk itself, there are restaurants and shopping options (not within walking distance). The apartment is well located for trips to Amsterdam, Haarlem, Alkmaar, or the sea. Our stay was very nice, we would love to come back.

Our favorite place in North Holland
We were already at this special beach & wellness retreat for the third time and are sure it won't be our last visit.
Already upon arrival, you feel welcome and can immediately relax.
The accommodation, a former tulip storage, is furnished with great attention to detail and radiates a wonderfully cozy atmosphere. The way to the beach is particularly beautiful:
By bike, you ride through the impressive dune reserve, where you can even encounter Highland cattle on the paths (I think I even saw wild horses once). A small nature experience, every time anew.
The surroundings also have a lot to offer.
The places Wijk aan Zee (with the best fish stand in the area),
Castricum (with its beautiful sandy beach), and Egmond aan Zee (with the great lighthouse),
are easily accessible. We also enjoyed trips to Haarlem and Alkmaar, whose charming old towns always delight us.
In the evening, you can either cook for yourself in the well-equipped kitchen or indulge in one of the restaurants in Heemskerk. A day trip to Amsterdam is also easily possible and highly recommended.
A real highlight at the end of the day for us was also the beautiful bathroom with the rain shower as well as the sauna in the Strand&Well domicile. Perfect for winding down after an eventful day.
For us, this accommodation is a very special place to relax and enjoy.

Magical apartment
Astrid's enchanting apartment, which is very quiet, was our starting point for trips by train to Amsterdam, by bike through the nature reserve to the beach, and by car to the IJsselmeer. In Hemskerk, there are good shopping options, a weekly market, and many good restaurants.
We felt very comfortable and enjoyed the sauna in the bathroom on a rainy day. The kitchen is fully equipped, and we slept very well in the box spring bed.
We would love to come back ❤️

Superbly equipped holiday apartment
When greeted by the very helpful and extremely nice landlord, one finds a superbly equipped vacation apartment. The kitchen leaves absolutely nothing to be desired: sufficient dishes, a dishwasher, microwave, . . . yes, even baking pans are available. One immediately notices that not just any furniture has been put together here, but that everything is also color-coordinated. If someone should feel cold despite a great underfloor heating, they can warm up again in the sauna or steam bath.
The immediate surroundings unfortunately do not offer much - at least in autumn/winter. However, those looking for relaxation away from tourists are absolutely right here. And in summer, there is a lot to explore by bike.
We can only highly recommend this apartment!
