Welcome to the Salbeihaus – your holiday home in Waldrohrbach for up to five guests. On 78 m², you will find two comfortable bedrooms, a bathroom, and a spacious living area with a wood-burning stove for cozy evenings. The fully equipped kitchen with stove, toaster, and kettle, but without a dishwasher, invites you to cook and enjoy together. Fresh bed linen is of course provided, as well as a hairdryer for your comfort. In the living room you can relax, talk, play, and unwind, or enjoy a game of table football in the separate lounge. There is also an additional guest bed here to provide a third bedroom if needed. The Sage House is intended exclusively for non-smokers and is also ideal for longer stays – here you will find everything you need for an extended holiday. The lovingly designed rooms create a pleasant atmosphere, while the charm of the old sandstone house ensures a friendly ambiance. On summer evenings and mild nights, the starry sky and the bats living in the nearby church tower can be observed by the fire bowl in the enclosed courtyard and green area.
The holiday home includes a separate bakehouse that offers additional, versatile space. Equipped with a wood-fired oven, it is ideal for preparing tarte flambée or pizza and offers a lovely opportunity for shared evenings outdoors. In addition, a washing machine is available in the bakehouse.

| The Salbeihaus has a base price of 70 euros per night for two people (regardless of age). Each additional person is charged 20 euros (from 18 years) or 10 euros (up to 18 years). The holiday home has been lovingly renovated over the past four years. We tried to preserve the charm of the old house and naturally made some compromises in the process. We are very pleased with the result, though it is certainly not a "country living perfection house." You can expect an authentic South Palatinate sandstone house with some clay walls and many rounded corners. The outdoor area is not yet in the form we have in mind. This will still take some time. Therefore, the pictures show an exterior facade that takes pride in craftsmanship. The Salbeihaus will be offered by us as a vacation home for the first time in early summer 2026.

A pearl of tranquility
Lovely little sandstone house sensitively restored by its owners. Spotlessly clean, and well-equipped modern kitchen. No dishwasher, but that didn't bother us. Compact bathroom with a good hot shower. Stairs quite steep, which our dog couldn't manage, but that's part of the character of the building. Enclosed garden perfect for dogs. Our dog is usually anxious in strange places, but settled in here immediately. Nice covered terrace, lots of shade, flower beds, and lawn full of wildflowers. Thick sandstone walls keep the house cool and the location is wonderfully quiet. We both slept well throughout our stay. Plenty to see and do nearby, especially for walkers and wine-lovers. The owners are exceptionally friendly and helpful, making us feel genuinely welcome from the moment we arrived. All in all, this is a beautiful little house where both we and our dog felt completely at home. Thank you! +++++++++++++++++++++
