Location and surroundings of object

Extensive forests with marked hiking and mountain bike trails stretch out near the holiday home. You can hike through beautiful valleys with mixed forests. Within a few kilometers, you reach an altitude of 600 meters.

About 1 km away, in the center of Vielsalm, the RAVeL (Route à Vélo) begins towards Born, Trois-Ponts, Liernieux, and Baraque Friture. The RAVeL in Wallonia now extends to around 1. 500 km of marked cycle paths have been developed, most of which run along former railway lines and allow you to cycle safely in nature. A 70 km circular tour with 600 meters of elevation gain starts in Vielsalm and leads via Trois-Pont, Stavelot, Malmedy, Waimes, and Born back to Vielsalm. The cycle paths, which mostly run on former railway lines, have only a slight incline. Within 50 km, the towns of Durbuy, Marche-en-Famenne, Bastogne, Prüm (Germany), and Clervaux (Luxembourg) are worth a visit. The larger cities of Liège, Namur, Aachen (Germany), Trier (Germany), and Luxembourg (Luxembourg) are about an hour’s drive away. In the village of Vielsalm you will find three supermarkets, two bakeries, and several good restaurants. With pizzerias, pasta restaurants, brasseries with regional specialties, and an upscale gourmet restaurant, there is something for every taste. A new shop offers local delicacies, and on Tuesday afternoons a market with regional products takes place. In Courtil, 10 km from Vielsalm, you can visit the Lupulus brewery and taste their delicious beers.
