In the midst of the white mountains in winter and the lush green landscape in summer, the Chalet BABSI-ALM is located directly next to the ski slope. Let yourself be enchanted in winter by the majestic scenery, the magic of the slopes, as well as the rustic and modern huts. With a total of 120 kilometers of slopes connecting the three towns of Maria Alm, Dienten, and Mühlbach, every day becomes a new skiing experience. In addition, you will be taken up the mountain by the 33 modern lift systems. A special tip is the Königstour, on which the entire ski area can be explored and the majestic backdrop of the Hochkönig is a constant companion.
Even in summer, the Hochkönig area reveals a very special side. Above all, the idyll, warmth, and tranquility can be felt in every corner of this area and make everyday stress disappear. Starting from biking, climbing, hiking, or mountaineering, everything is possible. Let yourself be tempted by Austrian specialties in the rustic huts, which offer only products from their own farms.
Dienten:
The apartments of the Chalets BABSI-ALM are located in the center of Dienten. It is the perfect starting point for skiing, hiking, and sunbathing, as the village is situated at 1071 meters and is therefore right in the middle of the ski area. A special highlight are the ancient restored flower houses in the village and the hall church of St. Nikolaus, which let you travel back to a long-forgotten time.
Location:
Since the chalet is located in the middle of the ski area, the ski lifts are also not far away. The modern six-seater chairlift "Bürgelalm" can be reached in 5 minutes on foot, in the Ski Center Dienten. Above all, it is this location that makes our chalet so special. On the one hand, you have everything within a 2-minute walk (bakery, Spar market, restaurants), you are right in the middle of things, never need to use the car, and on the other hand, thanks to the quiet, special location, you have no noise and can fully enjoy your vacation in peace. Surroundings:
A few minutes’ walk away are local restaurants offering Austrian dishes, ranging from a typical Wiener Schnitzel and the famous Salzburger Nocken to the world-renowned Kaiserschmarren. For pizza lovers, the nearby pizzeria offers a wide selection. If you would like to prepare something yourself in your designer kitchen, there is a Spar supermarket just a few minutes’ walk away where you can shop conveniently. If you ever want to end your ski day in a relaxed way, the bar in the ski center, which is only a few minutes’ walk away, is recommended. In addition, there are also numerous shopping opportunities as well as a ski school in the ski center. If you ever feel like having fresh rolls from the bakery, the bakery is also just “around the corner” from our chalet. Furthermore, several ski rentals and ski schools are also only a few minutes’ walk away. With us, you don't need to use your car for your entire vacation, as everything in the area is within walking distance.
