Amidst olive groves and many exotic plants, Casa Mañana is sheltered above Torrox Pueblo, halfway to Cómpeta. The property is about 5000m² in size and is easily accessible via a paved road. The landscape consists of fertile valleys with olive groves and almond trees that bloom pink in spring, pine forests, and Spanish firs in the mountains. Torrox is an authentic Andalusian white village with narrow, flower-adorned alleys and steep steps. The center, the Plaza de la Constitución, is a popular meeting place with tapas bars and cafés.
Sights include the church Iglesia de la Encarnación, the monastery Convento de Nuestra Señora de las Nieves, and the museum in the Casa de la Aduana.
It is less touristy here, more a place of residence for locals and expats; ideal for strolling and enjoying the Spanish flair. From here you can take wonderful day trips to nearby Frigiliana (white village), Nerja (Balcón de Europa, caves), and Granada (Alhambra).
