Beautiful location with a great, clean beach. The beach bar invites you to end the evening in a relaxed manner. I took a walk by the canal in a wonderfully quiet atmosphere. We would love to come back, but then to one of the holiday homes.

4,5 4.5 4.5 4.5 4.5 4.5

The holiday resort is truly wonderful, The food is excellent and the staff is friendly and dedicated, One can take wonderful long walks, For animal lovers it is a true paradise there: Dogs are welcome everywhere :)

4,5 4.5 4.5 4.5 4.5 4.5

The restaurant is great. When I heard the knocking from the kitchen (the preparation of a schnitzel), it was immediately clear to me that one can eat excellently there. Really lovingly prepared and no frozen food...

4,5 4.5 4.5 4.5 4.5 4.5

A very quiet environment, The hotel is clean, The beach is beautiful, The wakeboard facility is the best on the entire grounds, with super nice and friendly people, Thank you for that!

4,5 4.5 4.5 4.5 4.5 4.5

The atmosphere was very pleasant, one was greeted warmly and everything was well explained. The staff was very nice and everything was clean. The breakfast was excellent and the dinner deserved 4 stars in my opinion.

4,5 4.5 4.5 4.5 4.5 4.5

The surroundings are really beautiful, the food was excellent, and the staff was very nice. Moreover, we could lie in the double bed without the gap really bothering us. The shower in the room was very pleasant. The attractions around the lake and the hotel were also very nice. We were allowed to play Adventure Golf, even though it was actually closed on Mondays, since the operator was on site anyway. Unfortunately, the beach club is only open on weekends, which is why we couldn't try it out. Overall, a really nice hotel, we would love to come back.

4,5 4.5 4.5 4.5 4.5 4.5

We arrived a bit later. After a call, they even waited for our arrival and we were very warmly welcomed, despite it being after work hours. Everything was explained to us in detail. For the dogs, there was a basket filled with all the necessities. The room was nice and large, bright, and super clean. A water and coffee station was provided. The balcony was large and equipped with seating. The shower was a bit small, but sufficient. The entire staff was extremely friendly and just great! The entire area is really great and very clean. The food in the restaurant upstairs disappointed us; it was way too expensive and did not match the price. The beach bar and the beach club, on the other hand, were top-notch. The breakfast was okay. We will definitely come back!

4,5 4.5 4.5 4.5 4.5 4.5

The possibility of bringing pets, with dedicated areas for dogs and access for them to the terrace and the restaurant, in addition to the dog beach, made the vacation very pleasant. The restaurant offers exceptional cuisine and the breakfast buffet is truly abundant.

4,5 4.5 4.5 4.5 4.5 4.5

The hotel is located directly at the Amber Lake, which is an excellent location. There are sufficient parking options, the check-in was quick, and the staff were friendly. The rooms are spacious. The culinary offerings are good, but somewhat more expensive than elsewhere.

4,5 4.5 4.5 4.5 4.5 4.5

Unfortunately, we couldn't take advantage of everything since we were at a wedding, but I find the possibility of a fenced dog run and a separate dog beach great! Also, the dog set with everything you need was super, two pillows per person and a comfortable mattress ensure a restful sleep. The rooms are large and spacious.

4,5 4.5 4.5 4.5 4.5 4.5

We had a room on the second floor with a balcony. It was very clean and extremely quiet. The staff was very nice and friendly. Unfortunately, there is currently a lot of pollen, but that is part of nature.

4,5 4.5 4.5 4.5 4.5 4.5

The sandy beach by the lake is very beautiful and well-maintained, the location is quiet and secluded. There is a wide range of activities for all age groups, pets are welcome, and the breakfast buffet as well as dinner are good. The sun terrace invites relaxation. The staff is friendly, especially in the restaurant. The surroundings offer plenty of space for walking, cycling, and various excursions. Picture with a view from the hotel room.

4,5 4.5 4.5 4.5 4.5 4.5

Spacious room with balcony and seating area, Great equipment package for dogs for €12.50 per night, Beautiful view of the lake, Cozy terrace for breakfast, The bike path runs directly by the hotel, surrounded by moor and endless meadows, Otherwise, there isn't much, Water ski facility and nice beach nearby,

4,5 4.5 4.5 4.5 4.5 4.5

Dogs are warmly welcomed! There is even a special dog beach for our four-legged guests. The breakfast was excellent. Our room, which was in the most affordable price category, was spacious, quiet, and clean! Ideal for the first night of our vacation heading north!

4,5 4.5 4.5 4.5 4.5 4.5

At the beach, there was enough space for everyone, so it never felt crowded. There is a cozy bar where you can enjoy cold drinks and have a snack. Additionally, various recreational activities such as mini-golf, go-karting, and water skiing are offered, making the vacation diverse.

4,5 4.5 4.5 4.5 4.5 4.5

The hotel at Bernstein Lake is really recommendable. The location directly by the lake is fantastic and the surroundings offer a lot of nature. There is a water ski facility and a mini-golf course. It is very suitable for both children and adults. The room was surprisingly spacious and decorated in a modern maritime style. There is a restaurant with a view of the lake and the food tastes very good. We would love to come back, even with our dog, as dogs are also warmly welcomed here. Thank you for everything!

4,5 4.5 4.5 4.5 4.5 4.5

A stay at the Amber Lake is always a good choice for a short trip. We visited friends and explored the surroundings. The rooms were fine, as they were last time. We did not take advantage of the breakfast. There is a beach bar at the beach. During the week, it is very quiet there.

4,5 4.5 4.5 4.5 4.5 4.5

We spent one night there as we were passing through. We had a standard room and a comfort room, and I can recommend the comfort rooms, which are brand new, very nicely furnished, and located in a separate building where it is a bit quieter. In the main building, it was a bit louder due to the restaurant and various seminars that were taking place there. The Amber Lake is really beautiful. The beach bar also looks great. Everything makes a very appealing impression. There is a great playground, and the mini-golf course is really well designed. The breakfast was also super; there was everything delicious.

4,5 4.5 4.5 4.5 4.5 4.5

Friendly staff, dogs are really welcome here! Upon our arrival, we found water, a food bowl, and a dog blanket. There is a fenced area for dogs. The room was clean and well-equipped. The best part was - no box spring beds - so no sliding mattresses at night. Everything was great! And the location of the hotel is dreamy. Moreover, there is a great leisure offer. I can only warmly recommend it to everyone. We will definitely come back.

4,5 4.5 4.5 4.5 4.5 4.5

A dreamlike facility, very nice staff, a real insider tip for travelers with dogs, a true paradise for dogs!! There are also great offers here for the four-legged friend, we will definitely come back, thank you very much.

4,5 4.5 4.5 4.5 4.5 4.5

Last year 2024 we were at the Amber Hotel and were actually quite satisfied, only the breakfast buffet was not particularly appealing, there was little light and only one type of roll, now I have to rethink everything, because everything was really excellent! We had dinner there, and it was simply great, it couldn't be better. I had a lamb rack, which was as good as I haven't experienced in a long time. An M-star for the kitchen. The reception was very competent and gave us great advice.

4,5 4.5 4.5 4.5 4.5 4.5

The silence and the location in the midst of nature were wonderful. The opportunities for activities at the lake and in the surroundings were not crowded, the water was very clear, and the beach was very clean!

4,5 4.5 4.5 4.5 4.5 4.5

The location is simply fantastic, We really enjoyed our time here, The room was nicely spacious and the curtains were blackout, We especially liked the kettle, and upon request, we could check out later, We would love to come back very, very much.

4,5 4.5 4.5 4.5 4.5 4.5

The room with a balcony is very spacious, The view of the lake is fantastic, The beach is great, There are many options, especially for children, to stay, The surrounding places are reachable after a short drive, Shopping options are nearby, A cup of coffee or a cup costs a lot, like everywhere, Clear recommendation!

4,5 4.5 4.5 4.5 4.5 4.5

A quiet oasis, ideal for relaxing, We had a spacious room with a balcony and a view of the lake, The breakfast was excellent with a wide selection, The staff was extremely friendly and helpful, We will definitely come back,

4,5 4.5 4.5 4.5 4.5 4.5

Beautiful beach and playground, very quiet (early October) and ideal for children. The beach house was very inviting and offered enough space. The kitchen equipment (appliances, dishes, etc.) was completely sufficient.

4,5 4.5 4.5 4.5 4.5 4.5

As last time, everything was excellent. The lady at the reception took great care of us, and we felt very comfortable. Due to staff shortages (like everywhere), it took a bit longer until we could move into our room, but that's really not a problem at such a great holiday resort with so much friendly staff.

4,5 4.5 4.5 4.5 4.5 4.5

Excellent breakfast, very friendly service at breakfast, warm welcome at the reception, a clean beach, clear water, there are also many offers for children, perfect for a short vacation.

4,5 4.5 4.5 4.5 4.5 4.5

The location is fantastic, From the hotel, it is only about 50 m to the beach, The beach is very clean and well-maintained, The weather was also excellent, The hotel is tidy and always locked, so unauthorized persons have no access, The staff was always friendly, especially the lady who served breakfast, The breakfast was delicious and varied,

4,5 4.5 4.5 4.5 4.5 4.5

The Deluxe Family Room was divided into two separate areas, which is perfect for families with two children. In one of the rooms, which was converted into a double bed, there was the sofa bed. The room was freshly renovated, modernly furnished, clean, and very quiet.

4,5 4.5 4.5 4.5 4.5 4.5

The breakfast buffet was extremely diverse, I had the impression that the buffet was put together and decorated with great attention to detail, The person/people responsible for it surely enjoy pampering the guests, I/We can only recommend this property,

4,5 4.5 4.5 4.5 4.5 4.5

The room was fine, the facility is very nice with the dreamlike beach. Various activities are also offered, so there is no boredom. The surroundings invite you to take a long walk along the Elbe side canal with the dog.

4,5 4.5 4.5 4.5 4.5 4.5

The receptionist was extremely friendly and helpful. The room was clean, bright, and pleasantly cool; the beds felt as if they were brand new. The breakfast buffet was plentiful and offered everything one could wish for: from cheese, cold cuts, salmon, and trout to jam, peanut butter, yogurt, and muesli. The lady in charge of breakfast was very attentive and friendly.

4,5 4.5 4.5 4.5 4.5 4.5

We had a fantastic vacation for our family! The oldest is 14 and the youngest is 5 years old, and our family dog Stanley was also there! Simply great! There was something suitable for everyone, Stanley even had his own dog beach! Our big praise goes to the staff, who were really attentive, friendly, and helpful! Thank you very much for that!

4,5 4.5 4.5 4.5 4.5 4.5

The breakfast was excellent, The location is fantastic, The restaurant is first-class, Especially suitable for families and water sports enthusiasts, but also ideal for walks, We would book again immediately, The staff was very friendly,

4,5 4.5 4.5 4.5 4.5 4.5

The location was simply dreamy, the room was also very nice and clean. However, the breakfast could have been better. Although we went to breakfast early, it was not fresh yesterday.

4,5 4.5 4.5 4.5 4.5 4.5

The breakfast was excellent, it was constantly replenished and the staff was very friendly, the location and the view of the lake were also very nice, the beach was inviting and one could watch the water sports enthusiasts on their skis well,

4,5 4.5 4.5 4.5 4.5 4.5

Beautiful location by the lake, however, under the term room with lake view, we had imagined something different... Through the branches, depending on the wind, we could see a little of the lake at times. The room was very spacious and the beds were really comfortable. Until late in the evening, the ventilation system of the restaurant ran directly opposite on the house wall, which fortunately was turned off later. The few staff in the restaurant were great. They had a lot to do, but were very attentive and friendly, and there was also a casual joke now and then, which we really liked, both at dinner and at breakfast! The lady at the reception was not particularly friendly and seemed quite annoyed, both during check-in and check-out.

4,5 4.5 4.5 4.5 4.5 4.5

The location is very quiet, right by the lake. During the day, there is a water ski facility, a beach club, and mini golf. You can also rent a soccer field, but that is quite expensive and only possible for teams.

4,5 4.5 4.5 4.5 4.5 4.5

Just do nothing for a few days,,, that was our children's wish! Get up comfortably, enjoy a delicious and hearty breakfast, and then relax by the lake. The plan worked, and everyone was happy. They still went on a few short trips!

4,5 4.5 4.5 4.5 4.5 4.5

Dogs are very welcome here, There is even a special dog basket with bowls, poop bags, treats, and more, The cleanliness of the entire property is excellent, The comfort double room has a really nice size,

4,5 4.5 4.5 4.5 4.5 4.5

The breakfast was delicious, There was a good selection and even a bit more, A quiet hotel for anyone who likes to take walks and enjoy the silence, In summer it will surely be different, At the moment there is not much going on, It is really a pity that the beach bar closes at 6 PM on Saturday,

4,5 4.5 4.5 4.5 4.5 4.5

We had a very nice vacation, We were completely satisfied, There is something for everyone in the resort, There are numerous opportunities for children and teenagers to experience something, It was also very nice for hiking with the dog,

4,5 4.5 4.5 4.5 4.5 4.5

Beautiful room with a view of the lake and a balcony, very quiet at night, everything was very clean, the breakfast buffet was fantastic, and the staff was extremely nice, friendly, and helpful, especially in the service area during breakfast.

4,5 4.5 4.5 4.5 4.5 4.5

The location is perfect, as the hotel is located directly at the Amber Lake. Depending on the weather, you can swim in the lake daily. The surroundings are also well-suited for hiking or cycling tours. It is very pleasant to have a coffee machine in the room.

4,5 4.5 4.5 4.5 4.5 4.5

The concept is fantastic—everything you need is essentially right there, Our building and room were very nice, modern, and cozy, The lake is wonderful, offering plenty of space even when the weather is pleasant and there are many people around, The amenities are great, including a beach bar with snacks and drinks, and the water skiing machine is a fun option for those feeling adventurous! The restaurant choices are diverse, and there seems to be enough seating even during breakfast,

4,5 4.5 4.5 4.5 4.5 4.5

Excellent breakfast, In nice weather you can sit on the terrace with a view of the lake, A good accommodation for travelers with dogs, Everything is taken into account for the well-being of the dog,

4,5 4.5 4.5 4.5 4.5 4.5

A dreamlike area for relaxing or for sporting activities like mini-golf, water skiing, or just lounging on the beach. The staff was super friendly in all areas. The breakfast was simply fantastic; there was everything the heart desires: smoked salmon, cold cuts, German and French cheeses, and much more. The scrambled eggs were freshly prepared, and there was bacon to go with it. There was truly nothing left to be desired.

4,5 4.5 4.5 4.5 4.5 4.5

very quietly located by the lake and the apartments are really recommendable, the dinner in the in-house restaurant is also highly recommended, for breakfast there is everything you need, even if the surcharge is quite high

4,5 4.5 4.5 4.5 4.5 4.5

The quiet and beautiful location in February was pleasant, The view from the balcony was also great, The breakfast was tasty and sufficient, The room was very large, but could have a bit more charm,

4,5 4.5 4.5 4.5 4.5 4.5

A brand new room was provided in a comfort suite, It was very spacious and well-equipped, The bathroom had heated floors, The location is great, close to the beach and water sports area, There are nature trails and a lovely environment,

4,5 4.5 4.5 4.5 4.5 4.5

Claudia in the restaurant was simply great as a server (it couldn't be better) and the food was really delicious. The leisure offerings are exceptional. The beach bar is great, even if it is a bit more expensive. The view from the room of the lake is nice.

4,5 4.5 4.5 4.5 4.5 4.5

The hotel is located directly at the Amber Lake. Our room was very spacious and clean. We did not book breakfast as we were only visiting family nearby and therefore only needed one night. We were already here for the second time and would book again anytime.

4,5 4.5 4.5 4.5 4.5 4.5

We had a beautiful apartment in the annex and were very excited. The property is located right by Lake Amber, surrounded by nature. The Elbe Canal is not far away. We were especially pleased with the basket that contained everything for our dog. From food bowls to a sleeping blanket, dog bags to treats, everything was included. The operators of the hotel complex welcomed us very kindly. This accommodation is excellent for families with children.

4,5 4.5 4.5 4.5 4.5 4.5

The location is truly unique, Around the hotel there are many opportunities for relaxation, We really enjoyed it, The staff was extremely friendly, Everything was available at breakfast, Thank you for everything!

4,5 4.5 4.5 4.5 4.5 4.5

We were accommodated in the brand new hotel building. The room had a nice balcony that faced the sun in the morning. It was simply fantastic! The lady at the reception was very nice. Overall, we were absolutely thrilled and would vacation there again or spend a few days anytime.

4,5 4.5 4.5 4.5 4.5 4.5

Sandy beach and (small) sea in the middle of the heath, vacation like at the sea, good options to get to Wolfsburg to the VW Autostadt, the area offers various overnight options, we had a nice, well-maintained room, everything was great,

4,5 4.5 4.5 4.5 4.5 4.5

It was peaceful, but there were also many opportunities for activities. I wanted to relax, and I could definitely do that excellently in the beautiful weather and the beach-like atmosphere. The lake is very clean, and it was simply a pleasure to cool off in it.

4,5 4.5 4.5 4.5 4.5 4.5

The breakfast was very tasty and offered a wide selection, only the coffee machine unfortunately did not work. The dinner menu could be a bit more varied, also for guests with a smaller budget. We only ate there once and my ox cheeks were excellent. Unfortunately, we had to eat outside, as you could only eat inside with a table reservation made at least 2 days in advance.

4,5 4.5 4.5 4.5 4.5 4.5

The location right by the lake is truly fantastic. However, one has to drive to the next village for everyday errands, as there is nothing available on-site. But for this quiet place, one gladly accepts that. The breakfast is very tasty, and the service is friendly, helpful, and always ready to give tips for excursions.

4,5 4.5 4.5 4.5 4.5 4.5

We only stayed at this hotel because we were invited to a friend's birthday nearby. Therefore, we didn't experience much of the beautiful facility with mini-golf and a lake. Nevertheless, we plan to come back and try out the offerings then. As soon as you arrive, you immediately feel a sense of vacation and relaxation.

4,5 4.5 4.5 4.5 4.5 4.5

Since we only spent one night there, we can't report much, however, we liked it so much that we can easily imagine spending a few days there on vacation soon. The location by the lake is fantastic and there are many activities that can be enjoyed during a longer stay.

4,5 4.5 4.5 4.5 4.5 4.5

The facility impresses mainly with its excellent staff and the spacious, well-maintained surroundings with numerous leisure options. The rooms are very clean and in good condition. We would book this facility again at any time, but then for a few days longer.

4,5 4.5 4.5 4.5 4.5 4.5

The facility is really beautiful and has its own lake. There are various water sports options and many other leisure activities. Parking was free. We only spent one night there. The receptionist was very friendly.

We will definitely come back,

4,5 4.5 4.5 4.5 4.5 4.5

A very well-maintained accommodation with clean rooms and a beautiful view of the lake. Although we arrived late after reception hours, we were still served kindly and checked out.

4,5 4.5 4.5 4.5 4.5 4.5

The location is ideal, surrounded by untouched nature. There is a very calm atmosphere that conveys a great sense of well-being, and both people and animals find a pleasant place here.
