Location and surroundings of object

You will find a bright, friendly and well-furnished holiday flat in a quiet residential area. The flat is located in a detached house on the ground floor with a separate entrance.
In the garden there is a roofed outdoor seating area and barbecue facilities. The small settlement is located 1 km from the Ruhr Valley cycle path. In a few minutes by car you can reach the
Vosswinkel wild forest. Further destinations are Möhnesee 20 min., Sorpesee 30 min. and Winterberg approx. 60 min.
Wimbern is a district of the municipality of Wickede (Ruhr), which belongs to the North Rhine-Westphalian district of Soest.

Wimbern has an area of 3.39 km² and 908 inhabitants (as of 31 December 2009). The population density is therefore 268 inhabitants per km²[1]

Wimbern is strongly characterised by agriculture and is the southernmost district of the municipality of Wickede. The Bellingser Berg (238 metres above sea level), Wickede's highest point, is also located here.

Large stretches of the Wimberbach have been declared a nature reserve[2]
