Location and surroundings of object
Plouescat for many years a popular resort without any holiday bustle, even in high season. Kilometers of beaches and dunes, inexpensive good restaurants, many castles, the famous Breton cemeteries, but also the beautiful towns like Roskoff, Morlaix, Lesneven offer a lot of variety. For years a secret for a very relaxing holiday.

We felt very comfortable!
We were here over Christmas and New Year's with our 2 Huskies. The house is very quiet and rural. The landlord's parents live right next door and are very nice. The garden directly at the house is quite small, but completely sufficient for us. There is also a large meadow across the street. Relatively large parking lot directly by the house. The garden is not necessarily dog-proof fenced. The house is totally cozy furnished. The stairs leading up are open and made of wood and quite slippery. For our dogs, no problem. Downstairs are tiles and upstairs is wooden flooring. For older dogs, it’s not very suitable if they have problems getting up because it is very slippery. As soon as it gets dark, it is dark. There are no streetlights here. We were completely alone and it was completely quiet. The furnishings are very comfortable. Everything is available. The bakery is 1.5 km away. It’s great to reach by bike. We enjoyed it very much and would come again if we find ourselves in this area again. You can shop at the Internarche at the other end of the village.

Relaxing holidays, fine sandy beaches
We were only there for a week, but it was worth it. We are a family of three (child 9 years) and we were not bored for a minute. The beaches are clean, fine sand and shallow, and when we were there (mid-August) partly deserted (if not, we were among locals). The house is exactly as pictured, everything immaculate and the landlords very, very nice.There was even a table football and a small playground! The directions are accurate and easy. The house is a bit out of the way from the village (it takes time to fetch bread on foot!), a car of your own is highly recommended - also to get to the really wonderful beaches.
recommend for: holiday with children, cultural and sightseeing holiday, beach holiday
Vicinity of the holiday home: Das Haus liegt etwas abseits vom Dorfzentrum, aber nicht einsam, sondern schon umgeben von anderen, meist Ferienhäusern. Landwirtschaftliche Flächen schließen sich, sind aber nicht störend.
free time activities: Plouescat selbst bietet einige Freizeitmöglichkeiten, vor allem Wassersport natürlich. Wir haben Brest und Roskoff besucht, ebenfalls beide empfehlenswert.
shopping facilities: Die Geschäfte im Zentrum von Plouescat sind klein, aber fein; es gibt drei Supermärkte in Plouescat (am Rand), es lohnt sich aber auch ein Einkauf in der nächst größeren Stadt. In Plouescat haben wir nur eine Tankstelle gefunden.
