Welcome to Helgi’s Heimat – your holiday apartment in Lochau on Lake Constance, offering relaxation and comfort for up to four guests on 80 m². Two spacious bedrooms with comfortable beds and fresh bed linen ensure restful nights. A small living room with a cozy couch invites you to relax. There is no television (but who needs one on vacation?), but there is free, well-functioning Wi-Fi. The well-equipped kitchenette features a microwave, kettle, and coffee machine – perfect for a shared breakfast or a relaxed dinner. A high chair is available for families.
The spacious bathroom is equipped with a hairdryer and all amenities for a pleasant stay. Enjoy sunny hours on your private terrace or in the well-kept garden, where a BBQ grill is available for sociable barbecue evenings. A private parking space is reserved for your vehicle. Smoking is not permitted in the apartment. For this, the spacious loggia offers ample covered space.
Whether you want to explore Lake Constance, go on bike tours, or simply relax in the greenery – Helgi’s Heimat offers you the ideal retreat for an unforgettable holiday by the lake. From the front door, you can hike up Bregenz’s local mountain, Pfänder. A supermarket, a small pizzeria (also for take-away), a pharmacy, as well as a bus stop and train station are within a few minutes’ walk from the quiet location in a cul-de-sac.

The holiday apartment is located on the mezzanine floor of a renovated former farmhouse, about a 7-minute walk from Lake Constance. Situated in a quiet cul-de-sac, the house is bordered by meadows on two sides. The parking space for our guests is directly in front of the house. The Lochau train station is also just a few minutes' walk away, from there you can quickly take the train to Bregenz or Lindau or to other destinations. The Lake Constance cycle path is also quickly accessible. If you want to go swimming, you can jump into the lake after a 7-minute walk.

We (Helga (61) and Franz (60)) have converted the former farmhouse of the grandparents into a cozy holiday home here with us at Lake Constance. We live on the upper floor. The holiday apartment is on the mezzanine floor (accessible via 7 steps). We have furnished the holiday apartment the way we ourselves like to live – a bit vintage, lots of wood, friendly, warm colors, and natural materials. We are happy to give our holiday guests tips for excursions if desired and help with using public transport. After all, you can gladly leave your car behind. The train station and bus are nearby. We are located exactly between the Bavarian island town of Lindau and the Austrian festival city of Bregenz. It takes 7 minutes on foot to reach the lake.
