The country house was newly built in 2022 with much love and dedication in one of Lübeck's most popular residential areas. In an immediate, quiet location near the historic fishing village of Gothmund, this holiday apartment is centrally situated between the Baltic Sea and Lübeck's old town, both of which can be reached in just a few minutes by car. To let your soul unwind and take a deep breath, the Schellbruch nature reserve is also located in the immediate vicinity and, inspired by its beautiful nature, invites you to walk and linger. Within 2 minutes on foot, you can reach the public transport bus stop with connections in various directions within Lübeck.
Our country house, built in the style of an old warehouse, has 2 residential units and was constructed on a former farm with outbuildings. Sustainably created from historic building materials, the building possesses a very special charm as soon as you enter. The high-quality and stylishly furnished holiday apartment, located on the 1st floor, offers 97 sqm and provides you with a quietly situated bedroom with a double bed, a full bathroom with bathtub and shower, a living and dining area with a sofa bed (for an additional sleeping option), and a television. Adjacent is a fully equipped fitted kitchen with dishwasher, microwave, and coffee machine. You will be indulged by the bright, light-flooded apartment, which we have furnished with great attention to detail. A highlight is a 22 sqm roof terrace facing southwest, which offers you a romantic and idyllic stay with hours to enjoy and linger. The following services can additionally be offered:

-a pick-up and drop-off service by arrangement until 10:00 p.m. to or from the city, from the train station or Lübeck Airport, or from the beach

“Our” old town island is part of the UNESCO World Heritage and invites you to visit various architectural, cultural and historical sights and special features. A visit to the Holsten Gate Museum, the European Hanseatic Museum, the churches of Lübeck’s seven towers, the Günter Grass House, the Buddenbrook House, the Willy Brandt House, the birthplace of the family Niederegger, as well as the medieval corridor houses, are highly recommended to experience the special flair of Lübeck. In addition, you can now visit a burial site unique in Germany, the "Columbarium-the Oak" on Lübeck's Old Town island. Due to the immediate proximity to the Bay of Lübeck/Baltic Sea, you can reach the spa town of Travemünde as well as the entire Lübeck Baltic Sea coast with its towns Timmendorfer Strand, Scharbeutz, Niendorf, Haffkrug, and even the somewhat more distant sunny island of Fehmarn in just a few minutes by car.
In summer, numerous open-air events and festivals, such as Travemünder Woche, the Duckstein Festival, the Schleswig-Holstein Music Festival, and many more in and around Lübeck attract people. Evening visits to the traditional brewery and restaurant "Brauberger" or the event brewery "Sudden-Death Brewing GmbH" are recommended. In winter, during Advent and Christmas time, you can experience a very special atmosphere in the old town of the "Christmas City of the North," which is famous far beyond its borders.
