Welcome to Holiday Home Buchtkieker – your personal getaway on the Eckernförde Bay in Schwedeneck (Schleswig-Holstein). Just a few minutes’ walk from the natural beach, a lovingly maintained house with a large garden, sheltered terrace, and cozy winter garden awaits you – perfect for families, couples, or a holiday with your dog. The house is quietly located in the Jellenbek district, directly on the Baltic Sea hiking trail – ideal for long walks along the cliffs or relaxing hours by the sea. The holiday home offers everything you need for a relaxing vacation:
- Two bedrooms (suitable for 4–6 people)
- Conservatory with additional sofa bed
- Bathroom with bathtub + separate guest WC
- Wood-burning stove for cozy evenings
- Fully equipped kitchen with dishwasher, coffee machine, electric kettle & more

The interior is mostly from the 1980s, but is lovingly furnished and very well maintained. Anyone who likes retro charm will feel especially comfortable here – everything is clean, functional, and designed with a lot of heart.

The absolute highlight: The natural beach of Jellenbek is only a few meters away. In the morning, straight into the water, in the evening, enjoy the sunset on the horizon – here you experience the Baltic Sea up close. Note on the visitor’s tax

Super holiday home with super great hosts
Since the holiday home is only 100 meters from the sea, you can hear the sound of the waves, which is very nice.
The holiday home is very clean and has everything you need for a vacation.
First of all, a heartfelt thank you to the wonderful hosts. They are very friendly and helpful. You can't get better hosts.
All in all, it was a lovely vacation in this holiday home. Would love to come again.

a holiday home where everything is available that you need for a vacation
Thank you very much for allowing us to spend this wonderful time here.
The 950 km journey was more than worth it.
We were able to observe the sailing boats in the Eckernförde Bay from the terrace.
We enjoyed lovely Baltic Sea bathing just 100m away.
We took bike tours in the surrounding area directly from the house.
We had delicious fish meals in Kiel and Eckernförde.
. . and afterwards, we always gladly returned to the Buchtkieker. The contact with the landlord was TOP and very caring.

Great vacation with dog
The holiday home Buchtkieker offers everything one wishes for a vacation. The kitchen and living areas are equipped with everything the heart desires, and everything was very clean. We particularly liked the location, just a stone's throw from the Baltic Sea, and the fenced garden. The landlords were truly exceptionally friendly and accommodating. They responded immediately to all our inquiries and always made us feel welcome. You can simply tell that the well-being of their guests is important to them; one rarely experiences such warmth and helpfulness. The next vacation at the holiday home Buchtkieker is already in planning.

Great holiday home, great hosts
The house is very cozily furnished, located in a very quiet cul-de-sac, and offers a beautiful view of the Baltic Sea. The kitchen is also well-equipped, nothing is missing. The beach is within walking distance and was also suitable for our dog. We had a great time and returned well-rested.
