Welcome to Holiday Home Buchtkieker – your personal getaway on the Eckernförde Bay in Schwedeneck (Schleswig-Holstein). Just a few minutes’ walk from the natural beach, a lovingly maintained house with a large garden, sheltered terrace, and cozy winter garden awaits you – perfect for families, couples, or a holiday with your dog. The house is quietly located in the Jellenbek district, directly on the Baltic Sea hiking trail – ideal for long walks along the cliffs or relaxing hours by the sea. The holiday home offers everything you need for a relaxing vacation:
- Two bedrooms (suitable for 4–6 people)
- Conservatory with additional sofa bed
- Bathroom with bathtub + separate guest WC
- Wood-burning stove for cozy evenings

The interior is mostly from the 1980s, but is lovingly furnished and very well maintained. Anyone who likes retro charm will feel especially comfortable here – everything is clean, functional, and designed with a lot of heart.

Vacation in the holiday home Buchtkieker
We were on a short vacation in Schwedeneck/Jellenbeck at the holiday home Buchtkieker. Luck was on our side; we not only had beautiful weather but also enjoyed peace and a wonderful Baltic Sea landscape. Everything seems untouched by nature, and there is no mass stress, just peace and relaxation. The holiday home itself is lovingly and cozily furnished. In the holiday home Buchtkieker, everything needed is available. A fully equipped kitchen, bedroom, bathroom, living room with comfortable furniture, fireplace, terrace, conservatory (especially the view of the Baltic Sea) during breakfast allows for a pleasant stay. The whole house is well maintained and clean. A fenced property also makes the stay with a dog a nice vacation. The vehicle can be parked on the property. So we will definitely come back.

That's how one wishes for a holiday home.
Plenty of space, everything well thought out, everything up to date, everything is there, from the coffee machine to the e-bikes, down to the details, from charging sockets to small beams of light triggered by motion detectors on the floor during a nighttime walk through the house. Large supply of dishes available, not just counted according to the number of people for whom the house is intended. Kitchen fully equipped, very well suited for self-catering. Practical anteroom for passing through wet people (and dogs), cozy new furniture.
We also enjoyed the sea view from the terrace and the winter garden during breakfast, etc., along with the view of the beautiful garden, where something is always blooming.
Dedicated landlords; it is noticeable that the landlords want it to be a feel-good place!
Outstanding house, very close to the sea, super friendly landlords, we fully agree with Tim's judgment from Gundelfingen. We would gladly come again and enjoy. .

Outstanding holiday home!
We were guests with our toddler and dog at the holiday home Buchtkieker, and it couldn't have been better:
Incredibly nice and uncomplicated landlords, a mega beautiful house with everything you need and a fantastic location just a minute's walk to the beach and sea view from the winter garden and the terrace.
The furnishings are very nice and well thought out, E-bikes are available for cycling tours, and there is plenty to discover in the surrounding area for both young and old. The holiday home is highly recommended for families with small children and/or dogs, we will definitely come back :)

Bezüglich der Spülmaschine bedauern wir den Umstand der Störung. Ein kurzer Hinweis während Ihres 14-tägigen Aufenthalts hätte genügt und wir hätten Salz und Klarspüler umgehend für Sie bereitgestellt. Schade, dass wir diese Information erst bei Ihrer Abreise erhalten haben. Super holiday home with super great hosts
Since the holiday home is only 100 meters from the sea, you can hear the sound of the waves, which is very nice.
The holiday home is very clean and has everything you need for a vacation.
First of all, a heartfelt thank you to the wonderful hosts. They are very friendly and helpful. You can't get better hosts.
