Beautiful apartment furnished with attention to detail in a lovingly restored historic farmhouse. Apartment in impeccable and very clean condition. Plenty of space for 2-4 people, only the kitchen is a bit small, but functionally equipped. The property is also very nice and centrally located. Baker, butcher, and small supermarket within walking distance. Highly recommended!!! Recommendations: "Beach not available due to the marsh landscape on site." The island of Rømø is reachable by car within half an hour. There are huge beaches (accessible by car), and those who enjoy surfing or kiting will feel at home here. From here, there is a ferry connection to Sylt, with or without a car. Bicycles are of course also an option. Tønder is definitely worth a trip as well. Otherwise, "distant destinations" like Flensburg, Hamburg, or for families, Legoland are possible, but they are indeed time-consuming. There is actually only one restaurant on site, at the new lock. The selection is not very large, but the offered food and drinks are mostly of local origin. We would have also found a bike rental on site very good, but unfortunately we did not find one.

Idyllic house with garden, two independent bedrooms (each with double bed, one 160x200 and 140x200), living room with dining table, somewhat limited storage space, bathroom with shower, very small kitchen, but sufficient, large garden with two seating areas, house very nicely and tastefully furnished, everything very well maintained. The apartment is part of an old house from 1757, the owner lives in the other part of the house, but you don't notice it. Højer is a charming little and quiet village with beautiful old thatched houses near the German-Danish border. Recommendations: Few to no options for dining nearby, but good excursion opportunities: Rømø, Tønder, Møgeltønder, Ribe, Sylt, Flensburg, Nolde Museum.

We lived in Hojer in an old, beautiful holiday home. The house was very lovingly designed with pottery from Hojer. There is a bathroom, also designed in an antique style with a shower. A living/sleeping room with a desk and a living room with an adjoining bedroom. There are several wardrobes available so as not to have to live out of the suitcase. The kitchen is small but nice and contains everything you need. The house is centrally located; nearby there is a butcher, baker, and a grocery store. A large garden with seating is also available. We liked it very much. Recommendations: Across from the house, there is a meeting point where pottery courses are also offered. The sea can be reached quickly as well. Hojer is located on the west coast, and in the surrounding area, there is much to discover that I cannot list all here.
