In this holiday rental, you are close to all the major tourist sites of the Périgord while enjoying a particularly calme and peaceful setting, as the house is located at the end of a cul-de-sac. It is semi-detached to the owners’ home, but you will enjoy complete privacy during your stay. This very friendly elderly couple welcomes you with a bottle of wine from their personal cellar upon arrival!
Everything is prepared to welcome you like in a hotel: beds are made, bath towels are provided, and the kitchen is fully equipped with a toaster, coffee maker, kettle, stove, dishwasher, and food processor. There is even a pool table waiting for you in the living room.
On the two charming terraces, you can enjoy your meals in the sun or in the shade of the pergola (photos taken in winter). The rental is surrounded by a large 3-hectare garden with a view over the valley. You are only a few minutes away from the nearest village and shops.
For a swim in a pool, you can go to Villefranche-du-Périgord (10 km). This village is also worth a visit, with its charming town center and market square where you can taste local products. For natural swimming, you can also visit Lake Cazals (10 km).
Then explore the nearby medieval villages such as Monpazier (16 km), Belvès (17 km), visit the castles of Bonaguil (22 km), Biron (22 km), or Beynac-et-Cazenac (28 km), and many more. You are in the Périgord, where history-filled stone architecture is everywhere!

The owner of the house received us very warmly. There was a nice surprise for us and the beds were nicely made. The accommodation is good but could be cleaned a little better. Furthermore, new sun loungers with new cushions were purchased immediately because they were not present and the party tent was set up for us. It was also always asked whether all devices were working properly and whether something could still be done. In that respect the service is great. You are only slightly less free because the owners live upstairs. The house has a beautiful location. The view is beautiful and there are many hiking trails. If you really like flowers, you are in the right place in this region.

Nicely cared house with a neatly made bed. The environment was very beautiful. Good base for walking. To discover the Dordogne you may be just a bit far from some sights. Nice owner who, despite speaking only French, wanted to explain something to us.
