Description
Surrounded by woods and meadows, the fairytale hut offers a marvellous view of the town and the castle. Enjoy the sunset between the trees as the day draws to a close around the campfire.
We have lovingly furnished the Märchenhütte in a romantic vintage style. Nostalgia is the order of the day here: grind the coffee, hum the kettle and fire up the stove - here you'll find the good old things without the plastic.
The hut has a cosy living area with a wood-burning stove to provide warmth and atmosphere on chilly evenings. Free Wi-Fi is also available to keep you entertained during your stay. The bunk room is equipped with comfortable mattresses and high-quality bed linen to ensure a restful night's sleep. A cot, changing mat and high chair are available for families with small children.
The fully equipped kitchen allows you to prepare your favourite dishes, which you can then enjoy at the dining table or outside on the terrace. A barbecue and a campfire pit are also available, ideal for summer evenings outdoors.
The bathroom is equipped with a bathtub and an ecological dry separating toilet. Long-term rental is possible for longer stays. Please note that this is a non-smoking accommodation.
The cottage has a private car park and a beautiful fully fenced garden where you can relax and play. The surrounding countryside offers plenty of opportunities for walks, hikes and walks.

Location and surroundings of object
The Märchenhütte is located in the Lahn-Dill-Bergland and close to the city centre of the climatic health resort of Biedenkopf, but still in the middle of nature on the edge of the forest. The foothills of the Rothaargebirge are within sight. The Lahnwanderweg hiking trail, the Lahnhöhentour and countless other hiking trails are in the immediate vicinity. Various cycle paths (e.g. Rotary) run along the banks of the Lahn 500 metres away and mountain bikers will also get their money's worth. 30 minutes by car to Marburg or to the thermal baths with sauna and salt grotto in Bad Endbach.
The hut is easily accessible all year round via a single-lane tarmac road that is cleared in winter.

Fairy-tale standalone forest cabin
We had a wonderful getaway in the fairy tale cabin.
The town of Biedenkopf was easily accessible on foot, and the surrounding forest invited both small and large exploration tours.
The old hunting lodge was beautifully staged and offers everything you need.
And if something should not work (which was not the case for us!), the landlord is easily reachable. There is definitely enough water and electricity provided.
