In the middle of the beautiful Småland landscape, with fantastic nature and lake scenery in the area, you will find this cozy cottage. Here you have the opportunity to experience all the best of Småland. The cottage is secluded and beautiful with a view of the small lake. Summer evenings are best spent on the balcony overlooking the lake. Here you have the opportunity to experience the peace and nature at the cottage but with only a little over 20 minutes drive you are in Växjö with restaurants, shopping and cafes. On the first floor you have a spacious living room with the same wonderful view of the lake, a dining area, as well as a kitchen and a large bathroom. Upstairs you enter a hall where the bunk bed is and another bedroom with two beds. If you want to stay five, there is an extra bed downstairs. Firewood can be ordered and paid on site to the owner. Please note that the cottage has low ceilings A rowing boat is included in the rent so that you can explore the small lake in the best way. If you would like to explore the area more, you have the Kingdom of Crystal about 1 hour away, or you can go to Kalmar and Öland, which can be reached in about 1.5 hours' drive.

The old, small farmhouse is well-maintained and largely preserved in its historical condition. The wooden terrace and the boat dock are new and pleasant to use. The lake is deep at the dock, allowing for relaxed swimming. The open area around the house is an unmown meadow with a variety of blooming plants, butterflies, bumblebees, and other insects. - Two hiking trails that exclusively belong to the house (according to my research and impression) lead on small tours through the quite varied and partly old forest. The city is close, so we drove there for dinner every evening. - It's a pity that the kitchen only has a combination of two hot plates, a refrigerator, and two sinks, as well as an external microwave and a small external oven. It would have been space for a washing machine, dishwasher, stove with oven, and sink unit instead of the combination, which would have made managing easier. Recommendations: There are several restaurants in Växjö that resemble a snack bar and have a good price-performance ratio (we recommend Delhi 6, Redford Indian Tundury, and Tam Nak Thai). We went into town almost every evening and ate there. This way, no one had to cook, and it was actually a vacation. I went on the zipline (https://www.swedenzipline.com/de) and it was a very nice experience if you are not afraid of heights.

This beautifully located house is ideal for people seeking peace in a beautiful place and who love solitude. The house is simply furnished. Those expecting the luxury they are used to at home will be disappointed. After a short adjustment period, we felt very comfortable. The only way to reach the lake is via the pier, and then you are immediately in very deep water. For children who are not confident swimmers, the place is unsuitable. We missed a wardrobe. A shelf for books, maps, etc. would also be desirable in the living room. A nightstand would also have been useful.
