The holiday home is located deep in the forest by a lake (unfortunately without a direct view of the lake). It is clean and very cozy. The use of the compost toilet was somewhat cumbersome although a stool was available. The shared shower room of the three houses present was dirty (no one seems to feel responsible there). - The landlady, an older lady, was very nice and accommodating, but only spoke Swedish. Recommendations: We were in relative proximity to several glassworks where you can watch the glassblowers at work (Kosta, Bergdala with museum and Persson&Persson). The visit is free and very fascinating. You can buy beautiful souvenirs there. They also have cafes. - The moose park Grönasen is great - with a souvenir shop! Many nature reserves, some with swimming areas, invite you to hike. Next time, we would take a thermos with coffee and cookies/cake, because there are no restaurants and cafes in nature. Generally, the small roads are recommended to get a sense of how the Swedes live in the countryside.

Recommendations: There is a great supermarket in Braas, 11 kilometers away, that has everything! Otherwise, there is absolutely nothing in the area - but breathtaking nature for hiking, cycling, and kayaking on the lakes. More is not what a Sweden vacationer wants.

Very nice, somewhat aging Swedish house with plenty of space and a very beautiful garden with a fire pit. Good kitchen equipment, comfortable beds. We could also get bed linen and towels from the landlord.
