The lovingly furnished Frisian house Dea offers you plenty of space and peace to spend a relaxing holiday with the whole family.
It is about a 10-15 minute walk to the center of Greetsiel with its romantic harbor (including the largest cutter fleet in East Frisia), its various restaurants, cafés, ice cream parlors, and many shopping opportunities.
The cozy holiday home is furnished in a country house style. The generous windows in the living and sleeping areas as well as the brightly painted walls create a pleasant living atmosphere. Even in "Frisian weather" you can enjoy an East Frisian tea in the adjoining winter garden, almost as if you were outside.
The Friesenhaus Dea has 3 bedrooms:
Ground floor 1: Bedroom with double bed (180 x 200 cm/separate mattresses), 2 bedside tables with bedside lamps, wardrobe. OG 1: Bedroom with double bed (180 x 200 cm/separate mattresses), 2 nightstands with bedside lamps, and built-in wardrobe.
OG 2: Bedroom with two single beds (each 90 x 200 cm), 2 nightstands with bedside lamp, and chest of drawers.
2 bathrooms on the ground and upper floor.
On the ground floor, next to the toilet, there is a shower bath and a washbasin. In the newly renovated bathroom on the upper floor, in addition to the toilet, there is a shower with a low entry, a washbasin with drawers, and a hairdryer.
The generously sized storage room in the hallway in front of the living area contains a washing machine and a drying rack.
In the light-flooded living area, there is the open kitchen with plenty of storage space. In the fully equipped kitchen you will find:

A sitting area with a two-seater sofa and armchair invites you to relax in the living area.

The Wi-Fi with guest access (browsing and email) is available to you free of charge.
From the living room you can access the conservatory, which invites you to linger, dream, and enjoy sociable evenings. There is also a three-seater sofa and a dining table for 6 people.

The holiday home is located in a holiday home settlement. In about 10 minutes on foot you can reach the town center with shopping facilities (EDEKA) as well as the tourist information with swimming pool and large sauna area.
From there, you can reach the famous twin windmills of Greetsiel and the extensive canal network, which invites you to take small boat tours, in just a few minutes. Also located in the center of Greetsiel is the large children's playground with an adjacent pirate mini-golf course, beach volleyball court, and table tennis table for sporting activities.
A small bathing lake and the dike are also quickly and easily accessible on foot.
The famous Pilsum lighthouse (“Otto” lighthouse) in the neighboring village of Greetsiel can be seen from the house across the fields and is easily reached by a relaxing walk along the dike (approx. 4 km).

Greetsiel is a romantic fishing village, and those who have been there once always come back.
There are many excursion destinations in the surrounding area, such as the seal station in Norddeich and the "Ocean Wave" leisure pool to play and let off steam.
Emden is also about 20 km away with the "Ottifanten" who welcomes you out of the "OTTO Huus" at the harbour. Here you are sure to meet old acquaintances in the Otto Waalkes Museum

The accommodation met our expectations, we felt very comfortable here. The highlight is the conservatory, our main place to stay, especially in the evenings with dimmed light, wonderful. It is also heated for the winter months.
