Sehr schönes, stilvoll eingerichtetes Haus. Ruhige Feldrandlage. Zum Meer mit dem Rad ca. 40 Minuten. Wir haben kommen gerne wieder :-)

Super house, super amenities. The kids, 9, 13, and 18, were super happy and satisfied. We adults were, of course, too. The amenities are amazing; there is really nothing missing. There is almost more than in my own household ?. Hammock, garden toys, bath mats, washing machine, dryer, waffle maker, really everything is available. It takes about 15 minutes by car to the beach. Parking in Dahme costs 7.50? for 25 hours, and there is an additional tourist tax of 3? for adults. I can highly recommend it.

It was wonderful! We chose the 'Little Break' mainly because of the beautiful furnishings and the quiet, nature-close location. And we were not disappointed: The house looks exactly the same in reality as it does in the pictures. Nothing was embellished; everything was just as good as expected and hoped for. Or maybe even a little better. The furnishings leave nothing to be desired. In the kitchen, even ambitious hobby cooks can conjure up any conceivable meal. There are good kitchen tools and plenty of dishes and cutlery, so you can entertain guests or not have to use the dishwasher after every meal or wash by hand. There is a washing machine and a dryer. There is a nice bathroom with good water pressure. There is a powerful Wi-Fi. The living and sleeping areas are lovingly and creatively designed, cozy, and have a pleasant atmosphere. We had (in the Corona summer of 2020) some rainy days, which we gladly spent in this pleasant house. If the weather is better, the well-kept garden offers many seating and lounging options in the sun or in the shade (umbrellas, loungers, etc.). The children could play all sorts of things on the lawn or romp on the trampoline. The distances to the beaches (we found Kellenhusen better than Dahme, but that's a matter of taste) and to the nearest shopping options (baker, etc.). ) are all within a range of under 15 minutes. However, there are also farm cafés, a milk station, the lighthouse of Dahme, an organic apple farm with delicious juices, the Cismar monastery, and much more in the immediate vicinity, such as the chic Heiligenhafen (a bit further away, about 25 min.). The rural surroundings of the house are typical of Northern Germany: flat, beautiful, with a wide sky. And quiet. We will go back to the 'Little Break' again, definitely also outside the summer season, because even in mixed weather it is a cozy home away from home.

The house is as lovely as in the photos and very well equipped; the owners have clearly put a lot of heart and taste into it. Even with a one-year-old child, the house was pleasant. A few minor drawbacks: the house is located on the main road of the village, so cars and large agricultural machines pass by. Other than that, it is very quiet, so it didn't really bother us. In the garden, there are many good garden furniture pieces; however, one has to clean them from bird droppings several times a day. Many flies, mosquitoes (fly swatters are scattered all over the house), and other insects (beetles, spiders, ants) come into the house; here, fly screens on the windows and tightly closing joints on the entrance doors would be very desirable.

We were allowed to enjoy the little break for a whole week. And one can really enjoy the stay, as the owners have thought of absolutely everything. Modern and stylishly furnished, with a well-equipped kitchen where one can actually cook, which is not usually the case with holiday homes. It felt more like a vacation with friends. The beds were very comfortable (even for the family members suffering from back pain), the shower had really good pressure, and the Wi-Fi is fast. Outside, the trampoline and grill delighted the whole family. What more could you want? The region offers a lot of variety - from the monastery festival to beach visits, everything was reachable within 10-15 minutes by car. Ideal for a vacation with two children under 5 years old! There is a petting zoo and delicious cake just a 2-minute walk from the house in the hay lodge. (Very much recommended!) We will gladly come again.

Wunderbar war das! Wir haben die 'Kleine Pause' vor allem wegen der schönen Ausstattung und der ruhigen, naturnahen Lage ausgewählt. Und wir wurden nicht enttäuscht: Das Haus sieht auch in der Realität EXAKT so aus wie auf den Bildern. Hier wurde nichts geschönt, alles war genau so gut wie erwartet und erhofft. Oder vielleicht sogar noch ein bisschen besser. Die Ausstattung läßt keine Wünsche offen. In der Küche können selbst ambitionerte Hobby-Köche jedes erdenkliche Mahl zaubern. Es gibt gutes Küchenwerkzeug und reichlich Geschirr und Besteck, damit man auch mal Gäste bewirten kann oder nicht nach jeder Mahlzeit die Spülmaschine bemühen oder von Hand spülen muss. Es gibt eine Waschmaschine und einen Trockner. Es gibt ein schönes Bad mit gutem Wasserdruck. Es gibt ein leistungsstarkes WLAN. Die Wohn- und Schlafräume sind liebevoll und kreativ gestaltet, dabei gemütlich und von einer angenehmen Atmosphäre. Wir hatten (im Corona-Sommer 2020) einige Regentage, die wir aber in diesem angenehmen Haus sehr gern verbracht haben. Ist das Wetter besser, bietet der gepflegte Garten viele Sitz- und Verweilmöglichkeiten in der Sonne oder im Schatten (Schirme, Liegen etc.). Die Kinder konnten auf dem Rasen alles Mögliche spielen oder auf dem Trampolin toben. Die Entfernungen zu den Stränden (wir fanden Kellenhusen besser als Dahme, ist aber Geschmackssache) und zu den nächsten Einkaufsmöglichkeiten (Bäcker etc.) liegen alle im Bereich von unter 15 Minuten. Es gibt in der näheren Umgebung aber auch Hofcafés, eine Milchtankstelle, den Leuchtturm von Dahme, einen Bio-Apfelhof mit köstlichen Säften, das Kloster Cismar und Vieles mehr, wie z.B. das schicke Heiligenhafen (etwas weiter weg, ca. 25 Min.). Die ländliche Umgebung um das Haus ist typisch Norddeutsch: Flach, schön, mit einem weiten Himmel. Und ruhig. Wir werden wieder in die 'Kleine Pause' fahren, bestimmt auch mal ausserhalb der Sommersaison, weil es selbst bei durchwachsenem Wetter ein kuscheliges Zuhause weg von zuhause ist.
