New for rent! Exclusive and newly renovated holiday home on the lake for up to 6 people, in the heart of the Mecklenburg Lake District in Mecklenburg-Vorpommern. Absolutely quiet location in a small cul-de-sac.
On the ground floor you enter from the spacious entrance area via a small corridor to the new kitchen with dining area and seating counter. The kitchen is fully equipped with an induction hob, oven, large fridge, extractor and small appliances. The small separate utility room with washing machine and freezer is adjacent to the kitchen. The cosy living room has a large lounge area and a 75-inch velvet TV. Alexa provides entertainment and reception of worldwide radio stations via voice control. There is also a small guest WC on the ground floor.
The large outdoor terrace with garden furniture and a small fenced and sheltered garden has direct access from the kitchen dining area.
The upper floor welcomes you with a large studio-like hallway area, to which the three bedrooms, each with 2 beds and an open wardrobe, as well as the shower-bathroom are connected. The front mullioned windows offer a direct view of the picturesque Lake Kummerow with its unique sunsets.
a baker's van, butcher's or grocer's stop almost 3 times a week in front of the house, so that you can easily get supplies here.
In Sommersdorf there is a bistro on the campsite and you can order breakfast rolls. In the neighbouring village of Grammentin (3 km) you will find a café and a more upmarket bistro, also with shopping facilities.
Several other shopping facilities are approx. 8 km away.

Location and surroundings of object
Slow down in the dreamlike nature of the Mecklenburg Lake District, the composition of magnificent lake landscapes, unspoilt nature reserves, beautiful towns and villages worth seeing, as well as the very well-developed cycle and hiking trails and designated ice age routes through the region's uniquely beautiful natural landscapes. Lake Kummerow (Germany's eighth largest lake) is only a few minutes' walk away and offers, among other things, a great sandy beach and shallow water, making it ideal for swimming.
There are other beautiful villages adjacent to the village, such as Verchen, from where you can cross the River Peene on a small passenger and bicycle ferry. The Peene, the so-called Amazon of the north, can also be explored on your own by canoe or boat. Beaver and kingfisher tours are also offered here. The Ivenack Nature Park with its imposing thousand-year-old oak trees and exciting treetop walk is just a few minutes' drive away.
The Baltic Sea and the islands of Rügen/Usedom with their famous dream beaches are also ideal for day trips. The Ozeaneum Stralsund maritime museum and the beautiful old town are another must on the to-do list. A number of boat trips across Lake Müritz depart from the beautiful town of Waren. Rostock on the Baltic Sea with the fashionable Warnemünde are further highlights, as are the Hanseatic cities of Wismar and Greifswald.
