It is located on the second and top floor of an apartment building in the "Senzuno" district of the renowned seaside resort Follonica. The beach and the beautiful pine forest are only a few steps away from the house. The apartment features a well-equipped kitchenette. Here you can cook to your heart’s content and eat together. The air conditioning ensures pleasant temperatures even in the warmer months, so you always feel comfortable.
Those who enjoy dining outdoors will prefer the dining table on the large balcony. The sun awning also creates a pleasant atmosphere at midday. The view from the balcony sweeps over the Gulf of Follonica and, in favorable weather conditions, you can even make out the outline of the island of Elba in the distance. The ideal place for an outdoor breakfast or to end the day with a fine glass of Tuscan wine and unforgettable summer sunsets, while watching the bustling activity on the small piazza. Additional amenities include a washing machine, which provides extra comfort during your stay. The lively center of the small coastal town is also just a short walk from the house. It features an interesting pedestrian zone with numerous colorful shops of all kinds. Follonica: lively coastal town and popular bathing resort in Tuscany with beautiful beaches and rich history.
Sure, architecturally speaking, Follonica is not the jewel of the Tuscan coast, but if one engages with this small town, one can certainly find charming aspects to it. Despite all renovation efforts by the municipal administration, Follonica has always retained its somewhat crumbling 60s charm and is therefore much more authentic than numerous other seaside resorts on the Tyrrhenian coast, which were downright "spruced up" for tourists. Here, in the narrow streets of the center, one can still find many of the "vecchie botteghe," established small shops that often struggle (and hopefully continue to be successful) against the big chain stores.
Along the beach promenade, one can admire beautiful Art Nouveau villas and, right by the sea, the characteristic small beach huts, which were probably built at a time when building permits were not taken so seriously. Not only in the peak season is Follonica a lively city, whose typical Italian vibrancy also captivates and sweeps along the vacationers.
The provincial capital Grosseto is located approximately 47 km away. The medieval town of Massa Marittima can be reached after 18 km. The well-known beaches of Cala Violina and Cala Martina are about 9 km away, and the marina of Puntone di Scarlino is approximately 5.5 km. The marina of Punta Ala is 20 km away and the popular seaside resort Castiglione della Pescaia is 22 km away.

On summer evenings, the small square in front of the house, where there is a restaurant and a beach bar, is quite lively. Finding a parking spot in the peak summer months requires some patience, and you may have to accept a somewhat longer walk to the house.
Smoking is only permitted on the balcony.
