The surrounding area offers many opportunities for beautiful hiking and cycling tours through dunes, the internationally highly esteemed nature reserve "Het Zwanenwater," tulip fields, or cozy villages such as Callantsoog.

Also visit the cheese market in Alkmaar, the West Frisian Market in Schagen, or the open-air museum in Enkhuizen. Amsterdam is about 60 km away.

In Groote Keeten, about 3 km north of Callantsoog, lies the "Sandepark", about 600 m away from the North Sea coast. This area has the most sunshine hours in the Netherlands! In this quiet park - on a corner - is the holiday home "Moby". The house is about 60 m² and was completely renovated in 2011 including Wi-Fi. The holiday home has a large garden with a south-facing terrace and is suitable for up to 4 people. It is ideal for families with children. The garden (350 m²) offers a lot of privacy. In the sheltered garden with sun terrace, children can run free. In the park, there is also a newly furnished playground with a fishing pond, small sandy beach, and a soccer field. In the immediate vicinity, there is an indoor pool, tennis, and golf course.
