Holiday home for 8 people near Perpignan/Canet in southern France, Sainte-Marie-la-Mer, ZIP code 66470.
It is about 80 meters to the sandy beach and it is a good starting point for excursions in the region. In the village, you will find almost everything you need for daily necessities.
The main house has approx. 90 m² of living space, divided into kitchen - dining - living - bathroom and WC, three bedrooms. In the garden, there is an annex with 2 additional bedrooms and a small bathroom.
The kitchen is fully equipped, with refrigerator and electric stove/ceramic cooktop, pots and dishes. In the dining room, there is a large table and enough chairs. Garden furniture is plentiful, 2 tables and 10 chairs. TV with HDMI connection and DVD player with DVD collection for all ages is available. TV reception is not available.
In the courtyard in front of the house, two cars can be parked. No smoking in the house. Children welcome. Well-behaved pets also welcome by arrangement.
Wi-Fi is available in the main house.
Arrival is usually on Saturdays, deviations possible by arrangement.
Prices plus tourist tax 7.2% of the rental price.

Sainte Marie is a quiet, yet lively family-friendly holiday destination during the summer months.
During the summer, you can shop everywhere and every day. About 1.5 km away, there has been an Aldi since 2023.
Large selection of supermarkets also in Canet and Perpignan. In Sainte-Marie Village, there are bakeries, butchers, wine shops, vegetables, post office, bank, and across from the pharmacy are three doctors in the "Centre Médical".
On Saturdays, there is a small market in the village. On the beach promenade in July/August, there is a market three times in the morning and three times at night.
Nearby are the surfing centers Port-Barcares/Leucate as well as diving and sailing schools. The area around Sainte-Marie (Corbières, Pyrenees) is excellent for cycling and hiking trips. The cultural offerings are very extensive in summer (concerts, museums, castles, fortresses). Spain is also just a stone's throw away (approx. 30 km). Perpignan: "Palace des Rois de Majorque", cafes and markets.

Perfect holiday home in Sainte Marie
A very beautiful house in the best location of Sainte Marie. Great private garden/courtyard with tree shade. Very accessible and helpful landlords. Top-equipped kitchen! The quality is evident in the kitchen knives: there are sharp knives here! Large refrigerator, large freezer, and a very good washing machine. Perfect vacation for small and large groups. Only Wi-Fi would have been helpful, as mobile reception in the area is not so good.
