Hocksiel Break Time

I had a wonderful time at the holiday home Stern from March 7 to March 14 in Hocksiel. The guest care from Mr. Sterne was unbeatable. The holiday home was well equipped, with everything one needs. I lacked nothing. I have been to the North Sea many times, but this holiday home deserves 5 stars. I would love to come back. Many thanks to the Stern family for ensuring that I could enjoy my break so much.

Absolute feel-good oasis in Hooksiel – also with four-legged friends

We spent eight wonderful days in this great vacation apartment in Hooksiel in February and are absolutely thrilled. The apartment was super clean upon our arrival and is truly equipped with everything one could wish for – nothing was missing!
Particularly noteworthy is how welcome our dogs were; that is not a given and made our vacation very relaxing. Another highlight is the great terrace, which we enjoyed very much despite the season. We felt completely comfortable and would love to come back. Absolute recommendation!

Vacation over the New Year

In the house, everything is available that one needs for a stay! The basic equipment even includes spices and hygiene products including cleaning supplies. The communication between guests and hosts is excellent. We felt welcome at all times, and the host was always reachable for any questions that arose! Simply fantastic!

Relaxing stay – also ideal with a dog

We had a great time at Simon's holiday home in Hooksiel! The house is cozy, clean, and perfectly equipped – we felt at home right away. It was also ideal for our dog: The dog beach is reachable in about 15 minutes by car (or about an hour on foot), and the surroundings invite nice walks.

The location is super: The town center of Hooksiel is just a 5-minute walk away, and shopping options are very close by. Overall, a completely relaxed stay. Absolute recommendation – thank you very much for the lovely time!

Relaxing vacation

We had a few very nice days in the lovingly furnished holiday home. We lacked nothing, there was even a welcome gift. The landlord was very nice and always reachable. We would love to come back and can highly recommend the holiday home.

Anytime again!

The holiday home Stern is very cozy and we felt comfortable there. The beds are totally comfortable. The kitchen is well-equipped and fully stocked. The living/dining room is also cozy thanks to the comfortable sofa landscape with the numerous cushions. The TV, board games, and books also provide variety in less favorable weather. Furthermore, we found the information material for activities and gastronomy in Wangerland enriching. The location of the apartment is optimal. On one hand, it is only a few steps to the old town center with its old harbor, shops, and restaurants - on the other hand, you live in a mixed residential area of single-family homes and some vacation houses. Contact with locals is possible if you wish. The supermarket and beach are reachable in a few minutes by car. It is a nice gesture that cookies, mineral water, and a pack with useful items are provided for the welcome. Thank you! We will be back next year!

Perfektes Ferienhaus für eine entspannte Urlaubszeit

Wir haben mit Freunden im November eine wunderbare Zeit im Ferienhaus Stern verbracht – spielen, kochen, entspannen und spazieren gehen. Die Atmosphäre ist sehr angenehm: das Haus ist modern und liebevoll eingerichtet und bietet ausreichend Platz. Es gibt einige coole Spiele zur Auswahl. Die Betten sind sehr gut und es war insgesamt sehr sauber. Die Küche ist zum Kochen hervorragend ausgestattet. Auch der Außenbereich mit Terrasse und Garten lädt definitiv zum Verweilen ein, wenn die Sonne scheint.
Die Lage ist top: ruhig gelegen, dennoch nah genug am Ortskern, sodass wir spontan losziehen konnten zum Spaziergang oder in ein nettes Café. Wir können das Ferienhaus uneingeschränkt weiterempfehlen und kommen gerne wieder. :)

A relaxing break in Hooksiel

Enjoyed a beautiful break!!

We were able to spend beautiful days in the lovingly furnished holiday home. We felt at home right away. We lacked nothing; the kitchen is equipped with everything you need. Our dog also felt very comfortable in the small garden and on the terrace, where you can enjoy the afternoon sun very much. The excursion tips provided are very helpful for planning your activities. A trip to Norddeich to the seal station is highly recommended. It is a very quiet residential area which we enjoyed very much.
In a few minutes you are in the town center with many restaurants and small shops.
We will gladly recommend the holiday home and its nice landlord, and we will definitely come back.

Found a new favorite spot

Thank you for the wonderful days in this great holiday home. You feel immediately welcome upon arrival. A small package for first use (dishwashing tab, dishwashing liquid, dishcloth, sponge, all-purpose cleaner) and a binder with activities nearby, current events, order forms from local restaurants, and much more were prepared for us. The contact with the host was very friendly and uncomplicated. The house was very clean, lovingly furnished, and is very well equipped. We also really liked the location of the house. It is situated in a quiet area, and you can reach the town center with its numerous restaurants (little tip: reserve a table), souvenir shops, and the bakery in about 5 minutes on foot. We especially liked the very well-equipped kitchen, the very good mattresses, and cozy hours on the beautiful, wind-protected terrace. We can recommend the house and are already looking forward to coming back in the summer.

Great holiday home

We spent a few very nice days in Hooksiel during the Easter holidays.
The house is located in a very quiet residential area and offers generous space for four people and a dog. The kitchen is fully equipped – there is enough dishware and cutlery (not like often the case where everything is just once per person, so that you have to wash up immediately after each meal) and there is more than the usual basic equipment for spontaneous cooking sessions (so not just salt and pepper). Even a fresh basic set for washing up consisting of dish soap, dishwasher tabs, and dishcloths was ready, which unfortunately we don't know from every house.
In general, the house is very well equipped, with books and games also for rainy days. The children were thrilled with the large cozy couch with the many cushions and the smart TV? A garden fence would have been nice so that the dog could go into the small garden for a bit, but it was mentioned in the description that there is no fence, so we knew that beforehand.
The house was very clean upon our arrival. The landlord was always reachable via WhatsApp and responded quickly to questions.
Due to the great location of the holiday home, you can reach the town center on foot in just a few minutes, where there is a nice little pedestrian zone with restaurants, pizzerias, and small shops. Overall, this house is highly recommended, and if we know someone who wants to vacation in this area, we will definitely recommend the house.

Pure relaxation – absolutely recommended!

We had a wonderful time in this holiday home! Everything was excellent – the house was very clean, well-equipped, and lovingly furnished. It was immediately apparent that a lot of importance was placed on comfort and hospitality here. The location was ideal, quiet yet easily accessible.

We especially enjoyed the cozy atmosphere and the good amenities – we lacked for nothing. The communication with the host was also very friendly and uncomplicated. We can highly recommend this holiday home and would love to come back anytime!
