No rush here, plenty of room inside and it stayed quiet at night which made sleeping easy. The staff were very helpful throughout our stay.

Beautiful ancient house, recently renovated with a modern kitchen and bathroom. Well-maintained garden with a nice terrace shaded by trees to enjoy breakfast in tranquility and privacy, while overlooking the neighboring field and forest. Absolutely silent location. The surrounding area offers plenty of beautiful villages and small towns to visit. In the near vicinity, we enjoyed going to local markets, visited the cave of Tourtoirac and the magnificent castle at Hautefort, and the towns of Brive and Terrasson. A longer day trip took us to some of the most beautiful villages in France like Rocamadour and Collonges-la-Rouge. There is plenty more to explore, and we hope to return one day to continue our visit to the region. The only real downside is that you spend a lot of time in your car to get around because the roads are small and slow (at least for non-locals like us).
