Discover our charming holiday home "Haus Stranddistel" in Varel-Dangast, which can accommodate up to 6 guests on 90 square metres. This idyllic domicile has two bedrooms and a bathroom, ideal for families and small groups.

The Stranddistel house is surrounded by a beautiful garden where you can observe the local wildlife. Relax on the terrace and enjoy the peace and quiet in the fenced garden. There are two parking spaces available for guests arriving by car.

Inside you will find a fully equipped kitchen with dishwasher, microwave, kettle and coffee machine. The kitchen is equipped with modern appliances. The open-plan living area with dining area is equipped with a TV and comfortable seating, while the bathroom offers a washing machine for your convenience.

Location and surroundings of object

The North Sea resort of Dangast is the oldest and most southerly seaside resort on the German North Sea coast. It is very centrally located on the Jade Bay just north of Oldenburg and north-west of Bad Zwischenahn and is ideal for cycling tours as well as a good starting point for various sightseeing tours in the surrounding area, e.g. to East Frisia or to Oldenburg, Bad Zwischenahn or Bremen.

Dangast is one of the few places on the German North Sea coast where a protective dyke is not required. This is possible because Dangast was built in a flood-protected location on the southern slope of an ice-age geological ridge. As a result, one of the most important attractions in Dangast is the unobstructed view of the sea.
