Welcome to our "small holiday flat" on the farm! It is actually a small cottage, which stands separately in the garden. With a living space of 50 square metres, this accommodation offers space for up to 4 people and has 1 living/bedroom with a double wardrobe bed, 1 bedroom with two single beds (alternatively a cot if required), a hallway and a bathroom.
The kitchenette is adjacent to the living room and is fully equipped, ideal for self-catering. A cot, changing table and high chair are available for our younger guests. Bed linen, towels, an iron, clothes horse, hoover, WLAN, a television and a hairdryer are also available.
Enjoy the peace and beauty of nature in our garden with trampoline and play equipment, which is at your disposal. A barbecue invites you to cosy evenings. The terrace is the perfect place to start the day with a cup of coffee or end it with a glass of wine. A parking space in the carport is available for your car or bicycles.
The surrounding area offers numerous leisure activities. Take a walk through the nearby forest, enjoy the view of the surrounding meadows, ancient oaks and the typical Holstein Knick landscape or take a boat trip on the nearby Schwentine River, which connects the waters of the lake district. Cycling is the best way to observe wild geese and kites in the wild and you may even be lucky enough to spot sea eagles and a kingfisher.
Dörnick is the ideal starting point for many activities, such as Karl May plays in Bad Segeberg, Hansa-Park Sierksdorf, Plön Castle, shopping in Kiel or the Mazipan city of Lübeck, Bräutigamseiche in Dodauer Forst, fishing, water hiking on the Schwentine, Eekhold Wildlife Park, Trappenkamp Adventure Forest, beach days on the Baltic Sea, lake cruises on Lake Plön or five-lake cruises......and cycling, cycling, cycling!

Location and surroundings of object
Dörnick is a small village in the district of Plön in Schleswig-Holstein. Firmly anchored in our beautiful north lies in the middle of the Holstein Switzerland Nature Park,
between the Großer Plöner See and the Kleiner Plöner See and the Schwentine, our Karper Hof. Our place is therefore a real alternative to the coastal regions of Schleswig-Holstein (Baltic Sea approx. 25 min.; North Sea approx. 1.5 hours).
The holiday flat is located directly on the farm grounds behind the farmhouse. The fishing and bathing jetty is approx. 600 metres away through our small forest on the field path. From here you can start a quiet tour with our canoe.
You can reach us from the A1 and A7 motorways in the direction of Plön via the B430. About 1 km after Ascheberg, turn left towards Dörnick. After 3 km you will find our site at the sharp left-hand bend in the district of Karpe outside the village centre.

Moin moin and welcome to the Hoeft family at the Karper Hof! That's Malte and Martina with their three (partly grown up) children Katharina, Mareike and Henning, as well as the grandparents Anne and Werner. We are farming with heart and soul in the 6th generation! In addition to our cows, calves and bulls, our cats, rabbits, Narva the horse and her best friend Schnucki the goat also live on the farm. Real modern farming is still practised here. Our hobbies are closely linked to an active village life, such as the fire brigade, theatre, hunting or simply "chatting" at a convivial barbecue evening with guests:)
